Ja Ja Donut & Pastries

We used JA JA for our company’s donut & bagel delivery service every Friday. We noticed a decline in quality over the last few deliveries. The bagels aren’t the best quality and the donuts seemed like we were getting leftovers from the day before. Today’s delivery was absolutely terrible, the donuts had actual mold on them. We obviously canceled our delivery service with JA JA.

I’ve always been in search of the magic donuts and let me tell you about these…
Nice and light not too sweet or greasy. Love at first bite. Loved them so much had my company order them for our monthly meetings. Even the hard core dieters broke down!!! Not only did they have just one but I noticed they had a handful of the donut holes hidden under their napkins!!! We ordered 3 dozen donuts and 3 dozen donut holes– which were all gobbled up in one hour!!! One of my co workers summed it up best: great low calorie donuts.
It’s under new ownership and have the BEST donut recipe. May I suggest the blueberry donuts? YUM YUM YUMMY
I can’t resist the classic glazed ones either.
Don’t be deterred by the location– it’s newarks newest gem!!! (and only one).

Cash only. High pressure sales lady. Old doughnuts at 10am. Ordered two raspberry filled doughnuts only to get home and find out the filling was RANCID.

1600^th review. I noticed Ja Ja Donut & Pastries after parking the car & heading towards the Grocery Outlet in Newark. It’s a donut shop owned by Chinese people.
Got there around 5pm and didn’t want donuts, but I know it was different owner.
They have all kinds of American donuts. I saw on the wall they have egg tarts for .60ea. The guy working there said they don’t make it every day. Darn it, maybe next time I’ll call them & ask when they will make them!
I got a chicken pie 80c– round & flaky looking. having tried it yet.
