If I can give this place no stars I would. Food is always extremely late. Food is never hot just room temperature and nothing special. I will never ever order from then again. Their food is nothing special. I could of whipped up something in less than them. Major disappointment it seems like there isn’t anywhere good to order from around here. I need to take my ass back down south because this up north shit ain’t for me. Food sucks here

So I’ve ordered from this place twice now. The first time I had beef patties and curry goat with rice and peas and cabbage. No problems with the delivery and food was hot. As a Jamaican I thought the patties were good and the goat was okay. Needed more curry flavor but tender and good.
So the second time, I ordered the patties once again (they were good) and jerk chicken with rice and peas, cabbage, and plantains. The food got here 25 minutes later than told and when I called the restaurant they quoted me an additional 10 minutes past my delivery time well they were still wrong. Once again the patties were good, I ordered extra so I could have later. But I asked for sauce on the rice, none, and there were no plantains! The chicken was decent not spicy enough for me but good.
Overall, they need to work on their delivery service and quality control. I’ll give them one more chance before writing them off.

If I could give this «restaurant» ZERO stars, I would.
FIRST STRIKE — I ordered jerk chicken and they were out of it (how this makes sense is so beyond me), so they offered to substitute with curry goat… but charged me extra for it. In my experience in customer service, if you’re out of something and offer up a substitute, you do not charge extra for the sub!
SECOND STRIKE — We were told our food would arrive between 9:05 and 9:15. At 9:45, I called to see where our food was and was told that the delivery guy came to our building… and everyone else in the building got their order but us. And then was told «I would say it will take more than 15 minutes but who knows…»
All in all, this place is a disorganized mess. Just bite the bullet and go to Munchies in South Orange if you can.

Ordered delivery from here on Grub hub. After 30 minutes they call and tell me the don’t have the chicken fingers I added in my order for my son. So I ask what else do they have they say mac and cheese. Fine I’ll take that. 45 min later I’m calling them to find out what happened to my delivery!!! Finally after I get the food I see that my son’s mac and cheese looks like some Kraft mac n cheese out of a box??? OK I’d I wanted that I would just made it… the food for me (curry chicken and white rice) was delicious. so I might order that again but the delivery time is just ridiculous.

I wish I could give this place no stars at all. I stopped here on my way to class to grab some dinner to go. When I walk through the door an employee is standing there talking on the phone and no one else is around. He leers threateningly and me and eyes me up and down like a piece of meat then disappears into the kitchen.
Finally some other guy shows up at the counter and I ordered a mini curry goat to go: $ 7.00. This guy was really nice but didn’t tell me until I had already paid that it was a TWO DOLLAR SURCHARGE to use a debit card. 2 DOLLARS?!
Anyways, he was nice so I grabbed my food and left without complaining.
The Food: the package was heavy and I was looking forward to eating it. Goat was mostly bones (maybe three small bits of actual meat), without any sauce to soak into the rice… the rice and peas were cold like they had been in the fridge and not heated, the vegetables were bland and they only gave me one measly piece of fried plantain.
DO NOT EAT HERE! There are other much better island restaurants on this same strip, don’t waste money on Island Flava.

We ordered for the first time and was told they don’t have cheeseburgers, Who runs out of cheeseburgers. At 8:05 pm they said it’ll take 45 minutes to an hour. Its Saturday, so we could understand. We called them back an hour later at 9:05 pm. They said 10 mins and by the way we forgot to put on the potato salad but we’ll make it next time. There is no next time. We called back at 9:30pm, one and a half hours later we called back again. They said ten. Called back 2 hrs later. Yes 2 HOURS later. Are you kidding me? One of the top (3) worst restaurant experiences I have ever had in my life. Goes to show people today put up with anything.

Wow… I haven’t experienced such bad service in a long time that’s made me want to smoke.
Firstly, when I ordered they didn’t even have half of what was being sold. When I went to change my order the server seemed like she was new on the job.
Secondly, When I ordered it took 1 HOUR AND 37 minutes to get my food delivered and I’m about 17 minutes away from the place. When I asked to get a refund if the person didn’t show up the server didn’t want to give me one.
Lastly, (This is what truly angered me) I finally get the food; just relieved I can eat and low and behold HALF OF WHAT I ORDERED IS NOT THERE! THEY STOLE $ 10 DOLLARS FROM ME!!! I decided not to call because they were already giving me absolutly god awful service. The rice and peas were bland, I could taste the mercury and bones in the fish (was sour), and it was lukewarm. The only thing acceptable was the jerk chicken but that’s not saying much.
If you have any respect for yourself, DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. Do not waste your time and money because it is sooooo not worth it. The place should be shut down.
