Clean, friendly, fast, and good food. Yep that’s five stars in my book. We don’t have any if these in southern Delaware so while we were passing thru we decided to stop. Sunday afternoon no lines so extra points for you Mr. Fuddrucker. Loving I got fresh pickles and hubby went all crazy and put what looked like pico on his burger My daughter who tell you right to your face the burger sucks says this was the best burger she has ever had. Probably because the buns are made extra healthy by adding butter on them. Onions rings delish. French fries were good if you like potato wedges. Nothing wrong with a vat of warm cheese sauce on the condiment lane either.

I’ve only been here twice but so far this place is one of the best burger places I’ve been to in a while. I would recommend this place to a lot of people. Also the price isn’t that bad. I haven’t had everything on the menu but the burgers are really good. An the milkshake are good to.

Wow, this place really sparks up nostalgia, they used to have one right near my house when I was growing up. Nothing has changed, the burgers are still extremely fresh, fries are seasoned just right, all of the topping are crisp. If you haven’t given it a try you need to. My kids loved it as well, and they are tough critics.

Was a great burger as usual. Anytime I see a Fuddruckers we stop to have a burger. Love that I can top my burger my way with as much and as little as I want.

Wow, what? So Fuddruckers is just a bigger franchise of 5 Guys Burgers. The outside of the building is all jazzed up so you think maybe something like Red Robin inside. But when you walk into the dining area, it’s very underwhelming. There is a large seating area to the right and then an ordering area with a menu on the wall, like a fast food place. I ordered the Elk Burger; they give you one of those pager things when your order is ready. They give you a burger, with only cheese on it and then you have to go to their«salad bar» area to add your condiments. The burger wasn’t bad but the bun fell apart and stuff fell out. I gave it 3 stars instead of 2 only because it was clean… I wouldn’t go back here again. I’ll stick to Red Robin.

A nice burger joint with a fixings bar. My burger was very enjoyable. The place is bright and cheery, as well as clean. If I’m looking for a burger, I’ll keep this place in mind in the future. Prices seemed reasonable.

Ordered a fried chicken salad and found that the chicken was cold and not very tasty. My ranch dressing was rather lumpy and not liquid. My dressing reminded me of wing dipping sauce and not dressing. My family got burgers and I got a taste and realized again that it was cold! And tasteless! Disappointed in how this place is run, definitely not like the one near my home.

OK food, but nothing to write home about. Growing up the Fuddruckers in PA was always a worthwhile road trip to take for dinner, but I don’t think the same can be said for Newark’s newest location. The toppings bar is decent(but small) and the atmosphere is kid-friendly, but the burgers are nothing spectacular. I opted for the turkey burger and it was HUGE, but unfortunately overlooked and dry. The fries are fine, and adding cheese sauce from the toppings bar makes the meal infinitely better. But ultimately if you’re in the mood for a good burger, I would look elsewhere.

Hadn’t been to a Fuddrucker in years. Not much has changed. The young lady at the counter was impatient and was rushing me to order even though there wasn’t another person on line. My burger was a pretty good but was way over cooked. I like the fixings bar and the fries were great. Lots of better choices in the area.

My husband and I had our first date at a fuddruckers and each and every fuddruckers we see always holds a sentimental value, since they are such a rare sighting these days. I dined at this particular fuddruckers about a week ago, and had the elk burger, which was so amazing. I had just came back from Vegas and had my first in-and-out burger which was awesome and all, but this elk burger knocks it out of the park. I finished the whole thing, and could have gone for another. Luckily I had enough self control, but I cannot wait to be back in a couple of weeks. I’m coming for you, elk burger!!!

Let me preface my review by saying that a well made burger is probably one of my favorite things to eat. So I was pretty excited that a Fuddruckers opened up nearby. My previous experiences with Fuddruckers have been very positive. However, this meal did nothing but disappoint. Both my and my husband’s burgers were over cooked. There seemed to be no seasoning in the meat whatsoever. My daughter got the kids meal cheeseburger, which was a third of the size of the bun it came on. I ordered my burger on a bed of lettuce which looked like the lettuce and carrot salad mix you get in a bag at the grocery store. At the price point Fuddruckers comes in at, I’ll spend the extra couple dollars to go to Red Robyn or JB Dawsons next time I’m in the mood for a good burger.

Was not a fan of the food last night! My fries looked half eaten and my chicken was under cooked. My daughter was not a fan of the chicken tenders. My two boys loved their burgers though. I guess we will give another chance during the summer.

For many years, Fuddruckers kept getting farther and farther away from me. The New Brunswick location shut down. Then the Lancaster location shut down. Then the Bridgewater location shut down.(I may not be getting the order of these shutdowns correct.) So it was a big surprise to me when the Fudd set up shop in the old Cheeseburger in Paradise location in Newark, not five miles from home! Anyway, this is classic Fudd’s with arcade games /claw machines out by the front, cafeteria-style ordering, and more than ample seating.(at least for weekday nights) It looks newer than all the other locations I remember, but give ‘em time to age. Big plus here is they have not one, but two Coke Freestyle machines! I can’t tell you how many hours I’ve spent waiting behind people who couldn’t make up their minds when confronted with hundreds of soda combinations. With two Coke Freestyle machines, it’s a lot less waiting. Of course, the fixings bar, the real star of the restaurant chain, is there in full glory, and I love making a good tomatoes and molten cheese dish. Only real downside in my mind is prices of the combos are on the high side, but I’ll give them a pass since it’s an infrequent treat.

It can get crazy busy there, so the service can be slow at peak times(~15−20 minutes). That said, the buffalo chicken — crispy with blue cheese crumbles and dressing is excellent. The sweet potato fries were good, but I’d have enjoyed them crispier. All in all, it’s a fun place, lots of options and toppings, and who can turn down the free nacho cheese on anything you want from the dispensers. The drink machine is fun too.

This place is below average. The burgers are decent, and were actually made to right doneness level, though I resent the idea of putting the toppings on myself. The wings were horrible; soggy, no celery, and light on the sauce. I’ll take Five guys or Shake Shack over this place any day. And what’s with the name?

Lots of pros and cons here at Fuddruckers. Like others, I was excited to visit because I had great memories of the location in Lancaster, PA. The fixin’s bar was there in all its glory, along with the all you can eat cheese sauce. There is a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine so you can choose any one of a hundred different soft drinks. The service was fantastic… staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. the place has lots of very comfortable seating as well. I got my 1⁄3 lb bacon cheddar burger without a bun because I was REALLY excited about the onion rings I remembered and didn’t want to be too full. The burger was good, although I have to admit it wasn’t out of this world. Same with the onion rings. Good, but not great lunch at Fuddruckers.

(4) ~ very good food & service… Fuddrucker’s is definitely in my Top(3) Best Burgers. You can also customize them by adding a Fried Egg, Grilled Onions and Avocado. MYMENU: * Half-Pound«Kobe» Burger =(4) very good. It’s more tender than their«regular» Burger… but with the same taste. I would likely get it again if offered… * Fudd Fries =(4) very good… basically they’re Potato Wedges. You can get FREE Cheese Dips at the fixings bar too;) * Chocolate Chip Cookie =(3) just ok… * Oreo Shake with MALT =(4.5) Very Good!

Admittedly I was not sure what to expect at Fuddruckers. Part of me was looking forward to the ostrich burgers, freshly baked brownies, and crispy onion rings of days gone by(my last visit to a Fuddruckers was a few years ago in Lancaster, PA. The restaurant used to be good, then the horse ran away from the buggy or whatever else happens up there when things go bad and the restaurant went downhill and closed). Another part of me worried that I would encounter harried parents bearing endless Christmas gifts and hordes of screaming children heading across the parking lot from Toys-R-Us. Strangely enough(cue Twilight Zone music about here) not one of the aforementioned things happened. Looking back on things, maybe it wasn’t wise to visit on the third day the restaurant was open. Especially given the fact that the place looked finished from the outside about six months ago but it just opened earlier in the week. Anyway, I was first greeted by a parting lot with no spaces. Next came country music coming from the speakers on the patio area outside(they have a few large garage doors that open in warmer weather). How could it get any worse? I opened the door and was greeted by a line of about fifty people stretching to the door(good thing I got there at 5PM)! Anyway, there was a pleasant managerial type woman who was explaining that there was about a 30 minute wait for to order food and then another 30 minute wait to get your food. The good thing was that any parent with half a brain and screaming kids would see this train wreck and head the other direction(in fact I could count all of the kids in the restaurant on my two hands… so most people got the message and left). So thus no screaming kids. And we made it through the line in 25 minutes. Menus were distributed and we perused the offerings. There was a lot to choose from but the PETA message must have made it’s way to Fuddruckers Corporate so there were no more ostrich burgers on the menu. The poor turkeys, elks, and kobe-beef-bearing cows did not fare so well and they were available for consumption. Oddly enough the old french fries on the menu were replaced by potato wedges. The onion rings were still there(well new unimproved ones) and sweet potato fries are now offered. Samples of brownies were distributed… what happened? And where is the in-house bakery anyway? When we got to one of the two friendly cashiers(there is a third dedicated take-out line and register… just head to your left and avoid the line) we ordered a half pound build your own burger with one of the five cheeses, an elk burger(sorry elk-huggers), sweet potato fries, onion rings, and a rice krispy treat that was half it’s former size from dessert offerings. You could order your burgers any way you wanted them but not rare. We settled for medium rare. Our bill came to about 30 bucks(wink, wink). If you are the sentimental type hankering for the aroma of in-house made cookies that Fuddrucker’s used to have, say hello to Otis Spunkmeyer. Or whoever made these cookies. Cuz they weren’t made here. We got our sodas and I eyed the condiment bar. It was neatly arranged but featured those industrial quality tomatoes that were pale and never saw daylight, We made it to the large seating area ringed with a bunch of TV’s facing the center of the eating area. Tables were in the center and booths were on two sides. All of the booths on one side had those unfortunate souls waiting in line leering down at you… a nice touch from the«Dead Zone» in the Charcoal Pit on Concord Pike. At least the country music had been replaced by Top-40 stuff. And because of the«clog» ordering there were plenty of tables to choose from. And still no crying kids. After only 20 minutes the pager we got did its thing and I went up to get our meals. They were served on big metal plates. I sat down and tried a sweet potato fry. It was lukewarm at best. With all of the food they were dishing out I was really kind of amazed and disappointed. I figured I would not take the stuff back and«take one for the team» and mention it to one of the helpful staff that were supposed to be floating around the room(see previous reviews) but that never happened because nobody made it to my table to ask me how my meal was(but I had the exit door held for me and was told to have a nice night). Strangely enough my dining partner’s onion rings were just as cold. At least the burgers were warm. Anyway, my dining partner’s burger was cooked medium well. But it did have a mighty tasty bun! It was not the worst burger but it would have likely been a lot better if it was cooked properly. That being said, my elk burger was total kick-ass. It was juicy, cooked perfectly and was the highlight of our meal. It was probably one of the better burgers I have eaten in my life. But would I brave another 55 minute wait to eat it again with lukewarm sweet potato fries? Probably not.
