When I first thought about starting Jiu-​Jitsu, I looked into many schools around the area. I knew after my first week that Elite was the school for me. Never taking a martial art before, I was very intimidated when I started. I got over that quickly here at Elite because everyone was so kind and friendly. No one in the school just wanted to beat up on me, but rather wanted to teach me and help, which made me feel a lot more comfortable and confident in my decision. I’m still here a year later and love it; the school, the instructor (Jeff Mitchell), and the team. Jeff is a great instructor and I’ve learned a lot while training with him and the team. If you are thinking of starting, or are already training in Jiu-​Jitsu, then Elite is the school for you. I couldn’t have picked a better group of guys/​girls to learn with.

I’ve trained at other places across the country and this is one of the most welcoming school I’ve ever been to. New people — be it beginners, or seasoned grapplers are always welcome to roll and the students grapple accordingly. No ‘hazing’ the new guy.
The instructor Jeff Mitchell is a blackbelt under world champion Robson Moura, and teaches with careful attention to detail that every level can learn from.
Great instruction and great students makes for a great school.
