I am giving this business four stars for the prices and the service.
I have been coming here since 2009. The two managers are Alfredo & David. I primarily work with Alfredo but both men are nice and honest. Multiple times they have voluntarily repaired my car at no cost because there was an error with their work. I would have never known because the problems did not appear for a few weeks.
They have done work on my 1991 Toyota corolla and my 2011 Nissan Altima. My old Toyota had the following repairs over 4 yrs: brakes, ac needed converter, defibrillator replaced, tune ups, windshield wiper motor, window motor replaced, and more.
Their brake jobs are literally ¹⁄₃ the price of traditional mechanics. Tune ups are also more affordable. Other repairs on my cars were often half the $ different repair shops wanted to charge me. They turn over a lot of business in one day. I’ve never been here without a wait. Even at 7am drivers are leaving their cars.
Taxi drivers, internationals, the working poor and middle-​upper class frequent this shop. Small business owners with their own fleets also use the shop. I’ve overheard a lot of conversations in the waiting room. This shop has a loyal following.
The décor in the waiting room is not great. I would certainly recommend being dropped off. If you have to wait, there is a TV and sofas. Bring something to work on.
If you have an older car, need an honest mechanic, and want to save $, David & Sons is the place to go.
