City Nails

When you walk in to City Nails you are greeted and welcomed. It is so nice to walk in to a clean salon. Didn’t even notice any nail dust or nail clippings anywhere. I went in for a pedicure, and I am so relaxed. Cindy did such a wonderful job! I am very impressed with the service and the quality that they do for a great deal! I love it and I highly recommend this salon to anyone in the area

Visited City Nails while in Newark for business. I wish I had waited until I arrived home! Pedicure was just ok. Salt massage felt great but the gentleman doing the pedicure didn’t touch my cuticles and trimmed my toe nails unevenly. The pedicure was the best part of the experience.
I needed a fill and two nails repaired. He did not trim down my nail before putting on the new tip. Acrylic was applied too thickly and unevenly. Worst fill I ever had. Will not go back EVER.

Was blown away by the level of service and the nail job received here.
the ladies who worked on us did a meticulous and fine job on our toes and fingers, and the massages with warm lotion felt great.
Loved that:
— they have a variety of nail polish to choose from
— the manicurist asked whether she should put a fourth coat of polish to get it to the shade I wanted
— one of the staff wanted to make doubly certain that my pedicure wouldn’t be ruined so asked me to stay a few minutes if I had the time, and put my feet in plastic wrap to prevent polish from scrapping off after leaving the salon.

— make reservations ahead of time to get the spot you want

I’ve been going to City Nails for about five years. The place I came from turned my nails green underneath. The owner here, Danny, worked with me and within two visits I was looking great. He uses top-​of-​the-​line products and is very personable while working with customers. Once I had my nails done in MN and upon my return, he told me that my nails were done with poor acrylic and I should have them soaked and redone.~ My nails last for weeks between visits, and I have never had one complaint… and his prices are beyond fair! I have recommended him several times, and those folks have nothing but nice things to say, too.

I have been going to City Nails since they opened. I have always been very happy and the owners have always made adjustments when I asked. I am always pleased with my pedicure and acrylics. The only time I have ever had trouble with them is when I was too rough on them. The owners are very courteous and eager to make their clients happy. I recommend to everyone I see and I always get compliments on my nails.

I went in for a manicure and polish change… The owner was nice enough but the building was dirty and his practices were dirty. His selection was very poor and he sold shellac as gel. He clipped my cuticle and still charged me full price! His polish job was very poor!

I don’t know where to begin.
I absolutely REFUSED to go back to Z Nails in Coshocton due to their HORRIBLE service. So I went outside of where I am located and found City Nails.
The smell is overwhelming by the way if you’re sensitive to it.
I truly believe that the young lady that did my pedicure is not a licensed technician. She didn’t have a clue how to work the chairs. She kept getting up and wondering around.
At this place my pedicure consisted of:
Soak feet in hot water
Remove polish
BARELY trim nails
Very brief salt scrub
Took some sort of file thing that looked like an oversize emory board (not the cheese grater looking thing) and did TWO back and forths on each foot.
Dried feet and got ready to polish.
I refused the polish, told her to never mind. I could only imagine what that would of looked like.
There was no cuticle work done.
Charged $ 25 plus tax. I felt lik if I complained there might be an ugly scene so I just left.
IN ADDITION:
I felt like I had been VIOLATED by the massage chair. I have never sat in a chair that felt like it was punching you in the A&%! I promptly asked them to turn it OFF.
