I like Kim cause she’s really friendly and accommodating but in recent months she’s been cutting(injuring) my dogs ears with the clippers. When I mentioned injuring my dogs ear she apologized then again cut/injured my dog’s ears after acknowledging my dog is really great and doesn’t move. Now my poor pooch has butchered ears that only partially healed so I’ll never be bringing him back here ever again. If I’m being objective I’d rate Kimberly’s a 3 star docking her 1 star from my original review because she does a good job grooming, if only she’d not injure my animal. But let’s be real, my 1 star rating is totally emotional and rightfully so because I freaking love my dog. I don’t like my dog being harmed especially when the groomer admits he’s really great at staying still(not a problematic dog at all). I’ll never bring my dog back here ever again even if I got free grooming for life cause my dog will eventually run out of ears to butcher. :o(

I’ve been taking my pups here for a little over a year and Kim is great! She listens to exactly what you want done with them and offers helpful suggestions when needed(I.E best flea prevention products). After a few nightmare experiences I’m so glad I found her close to home!

I chalked the first grooming up to «she shaved the dog because of matted hair and knots» the second time? Not acceptable. No sort of «style» just SHAVED –some areas to the skin, some area large tufts of hair left behind. This is a pure bred dog with a certain«cut». I don’t think she knows how to do what with each breed, there was a golden retriever she had shaved to the skin(sans the head area) same as my dog. A schnauzer? Same thing… no beard or eye cover… just shaved. I say, find a REAL groomer or, save yourself the $ 50 bucks and use your own shaver to chop it all off. Ugh
