Maps. Everybody needs them to get from point A to point B sometime, but especially a commercial airline pilot while in flight.
After boarding a flight bound for Orlando, the pilot announced his maps were expired and he was waiting for new ones. Which meant we had to wait, too. We waited for an hour and a half in the plane on the tarmac.
I was mad because it was delaying my arrival to the happiest place on earth, but there was nothing I could do. We were given bottled water about an hour after waiting.
Later, Jet Blue notified me via email that they credited me with $ 25 because they delayed flight.
