Stopped in while traveling the back roads of Tennessee and North Carolina. The place is quaint, the people are awesome and the food is good. You have to keep in mind that this is good family comfort food and not some fufu bistro. It’s not going to be low-fat, but I had the meatloaf with mash potatoes and left fat and happy! I actually saw Carla working!!! I believe in supporting local businesses and seeing the owner working in her place makes me happy. Carla’s Café is a WIN”

Lunch review — was ok. Just over $ 5 for a couple slices of turkey, one slice of provolone, ice berg lettuce and exactly one tomato slice on regular wheat bread(we ordered hoagies). Included one pickle spear and a side(small side salad). Plain jane turkey sandwich.
