Great bar!!! Cheap beer!!! Great service great atmosphere!!! Very cool place to hangout!!! Came here a week later to the day, we got scolded for writing on the old rotting wood on the deck as someone backed into the deck fence knocked my iPhone down which was charging, fence was bent 30 degrees by car hiting it and nothing was said!!! But I was degraded for writing with chalk, which they provide and no signs say not to write on their precious wood!!! Also too cameras in bathrooms!!! Yes cameras in bathrooms!!! Women watch out! I did a shot in the bathroom which we brought in and I did in bathroom And bartender made a comment to me «we only drink liquor from the bar» how would she know that if no camera!!! Scary, creepy place!!!

This is a pretty nice place to watch some live music. I like the way they can open up the big doors for air flow here. They hire local bands and have a large clientele of local folks. Drinks were priced very well.

Where real people hang. Nothing fancy. Good jukebox. Cigarette machine. Friendly service. Pool table. No more darts. Sometimes live entertainment.

This place is very cool. Did New Years Eve here this year. $ 20. all you can drink for 4 hours. WHOA! I used that up in just Fireball shots. Great band, Burnin’ Smyrna’s, and very cool bartenders. Kept their cool all night long. Cool place to hang out.

Great beer special — May has been $ 3 buck red stripes. Live music almost every night and a salty crown dominated by locals makes this a great hand out for the flip flop, beach bike crowd enjoying a taste.

Saw a show here last night. The bartenders were super nice, welcoming, and helpful. I drove down by myself, from Jacksonville, to see the musician scheduled(Ben Prestage, an amazing young delta blues musician). When I got there, I was hungry – but they don’t serve food. So the bartenders sent me to a local Irish pub(Tayton O’Brians) for scotch eggs. I came back, and thirty minutes later the show was starting, and I had made friends with Andie & Shelly, two women who came to see Ben too. Soon everyone was dancing, and having a great time. The bartenders were super attentive, and friendly, always coming around to clear empty glasses, make sure we were having a good time. I drove back home to Jacksonville, happy, having found exactly what I was looking for: a fun little impromptu evening out, surrounded by good music and nice people.

Beachside Tavern is where the locals go. They always have live music, and the bar staff is friendly and quick. In the winter they have fire pit tables, which really add to the atmosphere but they do go quick. They’ve got plenty of beer on tap, as well as a large bottle selection and a full bar. The music varies from cover bands to local ska, punk, bluegrass, and alternative. If you’re in the Daytona area Beachside Tavern is worth the trip — it will get you away from all the touristy, overcrowded bars in the downtown Daytona area.
