Excellent, fresh seafood! Not a restaurant atmosphere, but quiet and very yummy. I had blackened grouper and fried shrimp, my husband had fried sea scallops, my daughter had fried flounder, and my friend had fried shrimp. The best sides were the potato salad and onion rings – both made fresh as well. Everyone enjoyed the meal immensely! The menu is served fried unless ordered otherwise – grilled or blackened.

I really enjoyed everything I got here. Their fresh tuna salad was recommended by the owner and he wasn’t wrong. it was incredible! The grouper was fresh and really nice filets which are hard to come by.
The place is busy so be prepared.
Also the crab cakes are incredible. They say they are their specialty and they aren’t wrong. Really excellent fish market and also do a great job of preparing it if you want to eat it there.

Incredible! My kids and I went for dinner and the food was fresh and delicious. Being from the northeast I am always looking for some great seafood and I’ve found it. Eric was super friendly and gracious with my kids. Loved it!

Great local little place. Have never eaten there but always buy fish from here. It’s always fresh (or fresh frozen) they know where the product comes from. Quality!

I love the fish and chips. Perfect batter for the fish. The Lobster Bisque is perfect. I would get it again.

This review is for the two sandwiches I tried recently, and not for any of their fresh seafood. There was no way I was going to ride around in a car on a hot day for a couple hours with seafood. I walked in and I was starving, I ordered the grouper sandwich, with potato salad and coleslaw as my sides.
After a few minutes, the grouper sandwich came out piping hot. It was good, but it was a bit small, so I went back up and ordered a lobster roll. The lobster roll came out a few minutes later, and it was pretty decent. I prefer my roll toasted slightly with some butter, and their roll had neither of these qualities. The potato salad was made with large chunks of potato, and was pretty good. The coleslaw was ok as well.
If I found myself back in this neck of the woods needing nourishment would I stop back in? You bet.

I’m really not sure how this place has such good ratings when the only time I ate there it was horrible. My wife and I got the lobster roll and ended up having to wait almost an hour to get our food. We were honestly about to leave but then our food finally showed up. Unfortunately the lobster rolls were horrible and tasted like iodine. Not sure who gives this place good reviews but I will never go back there.

This is a small family ran business. I love to support local when i can. It has a very small dinning area and a few seats outside. Lots of fresh seafood to choose from. Buy it and take it home or they will cook it anyway you like. I had the lobster bisque and sandwich deal. Bisque had a good flavor, but looked like cream broke when it was cooked. Cod sandwich was hot and fresh the breading was light. I’ll be back to try again.

I forgot how I ended up at this place. I think I was looking for seafood or lobster rolls and this popped up as the nearby place to go. After I got sidetracked by all the other shops in the plaza (eg a bar, a dojo, a public storage, a chocolatier, a music store, a barbershop), I finally stopped into the seafood market /​café.
The place is booth a market and a food place. They offer fish and seafood fresh. They also have pre-​assembled food that you can take home to cook too, like crab cakes. In addition, they have a kitchen and can prepare any of the pre-​made food for you to take home or dine-​in.
I opted for the clam chowder and lobster roll. Alana, the front-​house cashier/​server is the granddaughter of the owner (who purchased this shop in 2015 from the owner, and has his three sons also working here) and was very nice and helpful. She steered me toward coleslaw over the mac salad side dish, and that was the good choice; the coleslaw as a similar taste to KFC Coleslaw, but slightly less sweet and tangy, so it had a good balance.
Elena brought out my soup first. At first I was a little disappointed at the consistency of the Clam Chowder, as it was thin and runny as opposed to what I am usually accustomed to with thick and creamy. But then again I’m probably thinking of New England CC, and I didn’t read the menu to check if this was that version, since there are more versions than just NE and Manhattan. It wasn’t my vibe with this chowder though, but was still ok. Don’t get it though if you are looking for NE CC.
Finally Alayna brought out the lobster roll with my side of coleslaw. The Lobster roll was interesting as it was like a lobster-​salad type but there were large chunks of lobster meat to bolster the flavor. Its size was that of about a 6-​inch roll. There wasn’t much other flair to the roll, but its not like I’m looking for flash; I want substance. And it delivered.
Overall I probably will go back to either try the roll again or try something new. Mostly just the rolls. Although I hear the basa is nice.

Fabulous fresh fish for reasonable prices. Great birthday lunch! I had the mahi mahi dinner and a cup of lobster bisque. It was probably the best lobster bisque I’ve ever had, not loaded with sodium like many. I plan highly recommend it.

I really want a ½ star option!!! I’d say 4.5 stars, just cuz I have to cook somethings before I can comment.
Stopped in after a trip to a nearby surgery center. Large strip mall, that you would not expect a fish market to be housed — but there it was. Nearly 5 stars on Unilocal?Must be good.
The guy behind the counter was very patient and helpful (my Mom was drugged, I should have recorded her actions, in the ballpark of David after dentist or Jack after dentist!).
Ordered — blackened grouper dinner — HUGE piece of perfectly cooked, spiced grouper — so fresh and flavorful, add a little squeeze of lemon, I could eat that everyday.
Lobster bisque — oh yes, but not the heavy stick-​you-​to-​the-​couch kind, light flavorful, small bits of lobster, all this needed was fresh crusty bread
Come with 2 sides and guess what? They have HEALTHY options, 5 bean salad, tomato and cucumber salad was on my plate, Mom enjoyed a not gross and mayonnaise-​ey macaroni salad (really rotini, but can’t knock them for that!)
They also have fried options, if that’s what you like.
Now its also a seafood market, so I brought home
salmon
fresh (lump) crab cakes (have to cook them to see if they are any good, I am a picky Maryland born crab-​cake eater)
The rest of their seafood case looked amazing, with fair prices, compared to Cox’s.
Yes, basic nothing fancy seafood with friendly service
Yes, I only tried a few things but what I tried was an honest 5 star.

Well, I was looking to be impressed with the food, but it was ok… average comes to mind.
All these raving positive reviews had me very hopeful. I can only assume they are all from tourists from the Midwest that don’t eat much seafood. I have no complaints about the non fancy setting, and the service was good and the guys friendly.
I’m reasonable, and like to support small businesses, so I will go back again and give them another try.

My husband and I went there today and we were very disappointed. We waited almost an hour for our to go order. Meanwhile about nine people that came in after us received their food first. We almost left because it was taking so long but figured it should be good so we might as well wait. After we go home and we’re finally able to try our food, again we were disappointed. We had the lobster roll and a grouper entrée with macaroni salad, cucumber salad, and coleslaw. None of it was good. Both meals and all the sides had a very strange taste to them and it wasn’t pleasant. Neither of us ended up eating the rest of our food. Needless to say it was a waste of an hour and about $ 40. We will never be returning to this resturant again. I would give them zero starts if I could.

I’m going against the grain on this one specifically for the lobster roll. It just did not do anything for me. The pieces I got were really small. It was like a red and white tuna fish sandwich to me. The flavor was quite lacking. Kind of tasted like sitting water.
I had the stone crab too. It was pretty good at the time, but when I had stone crab afterwards somewhere else, that was way better.
It’s nice that you can pick your seafood and they will cook it any way for the most part. I think I would come back in the future to try something else.
The people working were super nice, and are happy to answer all of your questions.

Fresh, fast, good prices, and great friendly service… we will be back.

Awesome place to grab a bite to eat! Peel and eat shrimp are awesome and the crab cake is delicious! I love the fact you can eat and then get some fresh fish to go! There aren’t a lot of places in the area where you can buy fresh fish so I was happy to discover this place. What more could you ask for? Friendly and helpful service too!

The food here is amazing, service is great. Waze or Apple maps places it in the wrong side of the street. It is located in the same shopping center as Save-​a-​lot, next to family fitness. Try this place, you will not be disappointed.

First of all, it’s a seafood market and not s fancy restsurant. It gets five stars for doing what it does very well.
Service– guys were friendly and accommodating.
Food– lobster bisque was darn tasty! Onion rings as good as I remember from up north. Lobster roll was ok and so were bay scallops. Kids got burgers and were very happy. Due to snow up north and bitter cold, they did not have clams and haddock.
Physical place– it’s in a strip mall with Save-​a-​lot food stores behind an Amscot out front. It could use a little paint and a good clean job, but heck it’s a fish market.
Overall, if you are looking for a very casual and inexpensive place for s seafood fix, give this place a try!
