Good dog park. Wish there was more shade in the big dog area though. And you have to walk a little ways to get to the dog park from the parking lot, but it’s not far at all and not a big deal. I recommend this dog park to anyone in the area. :)

This place is back in a neighborhood which is no big deal for me, it just means if. My dog happens to get loose there isn’t a busy street right there to worry about. I only recently started coming to this place but I come pretty frequently now because my dog LOVES it. I’m sure there are fancier places that he would also love but this is closest to my house. My 3 year old daughter also loves to come here and play with the dogs and run around the playground. There’s also an agility course for the dogs but my pup isn’t interested in it. There is usually always at least one other dog to play with and the people that go are very friendly for the most part as are the dogs who come to play. Overall there are places to sit in the sun and shade, water for the pups, clean up bags and several trash cans that are always maintained, and it’s a very clean park with a surprising amount of grass considering. Bring your dog, try it out, and say hi to me and waffle!

My dog loves running around this park with her new friends she meets. It’s just enough space to let your dog run freely and burn off the pent up energy they may have. Granted it not the fanciest place, but it’s perfectly fine for your dog. They have buckets for your pooch to drink water while running around. Trash cans for you to clean up after your dog. PLEASE be responsible and clean up after your dog. I don’t want to step in your dog’s mess or have my dog eat it. Great area! There is also an agility course and a kids playground. So bring the kids and the dog an wear them both out at the same time! I’m happy with this park. I don’t need big fancy places. If you are looking for fancy. This place isn’t for you. It you are like me and just want your dog to run around and be a dog and roll around in the dirt. Have fun. Maybe I’ll meet you one day with my Allie :-)

Not as small as other reviews are indicating. Pretty Lengthy. Easily able to throw a ball as far as possible. Friendly pet owners. I was not afraid she would get hurt at all. Great park for the area.

This is not really a dog park. It is more like someone’s backyard that just happens to allow dogs. Do not bring your dog here.

This hard to find little dog park is tucked away in a neighborhood in New Port Richey. The dog park amounts to two fenced areas, one for little dogs and one for big dogs. If I had a smaller dog that was a runner I’d be a little worried about my dog escaping because the fence is a little flimsy and in some spots doesn’t go all the way to the ground. There are only the two areas so there is no way to rotate and allow the grass to rest. So what you end up with is some grass but a lot of dirt. The park was nice enough though with covered benches, doggie bags, water for people and dogs and a hose to rinse your filthy dog. I really liked the fact that they also have a PLAYGROUND right next to the dog park so you can wear out your dog and kid at the same time! There are also bathrooms which had running water AND soap! The playground was small but it fit the bill. The patrons of the dog park all seemed to know one another but were friendly with us newcommers. A great way to bring home a tired(but dirty!) dog.
