GiGi’s Pizza & Pasta

Oh my! This place… This place is life changing. I thought I had tried good pizza before. I was wrong. GiGi’s is by far the best pizza within 50 miles. The owner is a pizza guru. I’ve been twice now and I will keep going until he closes or I die.

I place a 30 – 50 dollar order once sometimes twice a week, I called tonight and started to order a bunch of food I asked the waitress on the phone e if I can order fries with some mozzarella cheese on top, she we can’t do that! I said why? She said it’s a special order and I don’t have time for special orders.(Just throw some cheese on it slid it in the over for 2 minutes the fries would have been hot enough out of the oil you probably wouldn’t have had to do that anyway) so I was like ok no problem. So then I said can I have a grilled chicken B.l.T sandwich wich they offer on the menu and I asked for oil and vinegar on that sandwich again she said no we can’t do that it’s special order (now she’s getting pissy and big attitude). After I tried ordering that she says to me, Listen I don’t have time for this if you can’t order whats on the menu and stop wasting my time with special order food I’m way to busy for this call back on a day we ain’t so busy, i was like ok no problem I’ll go to Joey’s and tell your boss he just lost a couple good customers and I’ll be telling my friends also about the attitude That I got from you and I’m sure they will go else where, she says good and hung up. WTF REALLY your business is going to go to hell with employees like that I didn’t order anything out of the ordinary or out of line to make, Big disappointment never again

A-​OK. Considering the quality (or lack of) of restaurants in New Port Richey, this is a gem.

Awesome every time, huge portions, great food, friendly staff must try! Pizzas, pasta dishes all great, expect to take half home. Classic New York city Italian food

Once again, I love this place. Best pizza ever. The owner has so much pride in his food. The atmosphere is great. We drive 20 mins out of way to get this pizza. Prob best I’ve ever had. I recommend this place for anyone who wants some legit awesome pizza from within 50 miles. My point is the food is out of this world.

This as the first time I ever post a review but I just have to this time.
We ordered a Margarita pizza with mushroom and an eggplant parmigian sandwich without cheese.
The pizza was horrible. The mushrooms were canned not fresh. The sauce was anything but authentic and the crust was basically a commercial pizza Hut crust.
The eggplant parmigian sandwich was barely seasoned, Under cooked and not enough sauce on it.

I have come here on and off for ³⁄₂ years now since working next door at Lowe’s Home Improvement. Pizza, subs, lasagna, zitti (maybe the best zitti in all Pasco County, and pasta with chicken parm, cannoli, all good 2 go ! Proportions are big and the owner, Carmine, is a pretty cool guy, as well as the staff. I you live in the area or just visiting, stop by at GiGi’s !

Best pizza in town. I usually order a personal sized cheese pie. It’s a pretty big size for a personal but I eat the whole thing every time because it’s so delicious. I think it tastes just like pizza from Staten Island, NY. Thank you for having such a tasty pizza!

Food and service are old world fantastic from a young Bronx boy. This is a must have. Carmine has a gold mine there.

Holy cannoli! Hands down best cannoli I’ve had since my Nona made hers. Great fast service. Everyone was friendly even the customers!

The food and service is great. Very friendly staff there. My only gripe is the place smells like burnt food really bad and when I got home I had that smell on my clothing. They should have there vents checked and or cleaned or what have you.

Great, great food. Just like authentic NY style pizza. Staff is extremely friendly and can make you smile even with just a take out order. My go to place.

Time for an update on Gigis… it is still five stars and how could I give this place any less. First, I love the privately owned family place for what it is. We’ve been in about ten times over the last couple months. The owner seemed to know most of the people and was super friendly. Now let’s get into the weeds…
I ordered a personal pizza… if there are two of you, get the personal pizza…(sorry if this cuts sales Carmine, but the personal pizza is huge.) If you want a couple days leftovers get the big one. All the ingredients have been fresh and the sauce is amazing. But the kicker is that crispy crust… to die for!
Service gets five stars by itself. .Great place and great food.

I will no longer get pizza anywhere else while I am in the area! Hands down the best pizza in NPR! I just recently moved to Port Richey and I am so glad I found this place! It’s a small joint, I guess some would call it a «hole in the wall» but, it’s a hidden gem for sure!
Our waitress was very personable and was really patient with us while we tried to decide what to order. We went to order the jalapeño poppers as an appetizer and she was honest with us and said they hadn’t been turning out to great and she suggested we try the mozzarella sticks, they were so good! You could tell they were fresh, when you bit down and pulled away from your mouth the cheese was melty and just perfect.
Onto the pizza, we ordered a margherita pizza. The flavor was out of this world! Cooked to perfection and HUMONGOUS! I could only eat one slice before throwing in the towel!
It was just as good if not even more so as left overs at work the next day! All of my coworkers were going crazy over how good it smelled!
I would recommend and will definitely be back!

The first time we went we were hooked. It was good, hot food, great portions. We were very pleased.
The second time we thought we had just hit them on an «off» night. Service was slow, and food wasn’t that hot, but it happens.
The third time, a couple months ago, it was awful. A woman told us to sit ourselves, then never came back to us. We finally stood up and asked the cook if she was coming back. He went to get her, and she brought us drinks only to disappear again. Now slightly annoyed I found her, she took our order and apologized, we thought maybe the visit would turn around. Then our food sat on the counter for so long my husband got up to get it ourselves. We had to find her for the check, then when she brought it over it wasn’t totaled up, so we had to add our own bill up ourselves. Being in the restaurant business myself I was furious by now. My husband threw down some cash, and called out to her that he «hoped it covered it», and we left. Haven’t been back.

Expensive, not worth the price. But haven’t been there in about four years. We used to eat there a couple times a week until we had a problem with hair in my wife’s food. He was very defensive and we haven’t been there since.

Love their pizza! Staff and owner are super friendly and make it a point to remember you. You have to try the meatball pizza. Meatballs are amazing! Some of the best pizza I’ve had around here for sure.

Stromboli is absolutely superb, with the best freshly made Red Sauce ever. Cannoli is to die for. Service with a keep you happy attitude.
Definitely recommended.

GiGi’s is small, but pleasant. It has a pretty standard strip mall pizza place feel and is clean and inviting. The menu is simple, with an assortment of pizza pies, stuffed pizza, hot and cold sandwiches, and pastas. I had the meatball parm sub, which was plain, but tasty enough. My companion ordered the small calzone, which ended up being an enormous beast, longer than my forearm and hand combined and a good five inches wide and four inches thick. For a mere $ 8, you could feed an entire family. Plus, it was delicious. The service was friendly and the owner (a «true» New Yorker) provided amusing commentary to various people from the back. It is definitely worth a visit.
