Lowe’s of New Philadelphia

Terrible customer service. Went there everyday for a week during a missions trip. Every time we asked for help the employees were extremely rude and mean to us. No matter which department we were in they acted as if we were an extreme bother to them. Will never go back.

I went to Lowe’s looking for a specific washer model. They had one on sale that wasn’t the EXACT model I was looking for, but the sales rep assured me that it was just the newer version of the one I wanted. I thought the price looked right, so I ordered the washer, dryer and matching pedestals, scheduled for delivery two weeks later. The rep also sold me all sorts of cables and accessories for the set.
Once I got home, I’d looked it up online so I could show some friends… and discovered terrible reviews. First of all, it was NOT the newer version of the one I wanted, but a Lowe’s-specific model. 90% of the online reviews gave it a 1 – 2 star rating, stating that this particular model was known for breaking within 3 – 6 months of purchase.
The ONLY good thing out of this whole mess is: the manager was prompt about refunding the money and sending out the refund confirmation, and he was very nice about it.
Seriously though, this place has a nasty reputation for selling subpar products and passing them off as the right one, as seen by not only my experience by the experiences of my friends & family.
