Moriello Pool

Good sized pool with diving board and separate kiddie pool.

Walked from the New Paltz bus station (~12 mins) to meet a friend here.
Paid and signed in at entrance ($ 5 residents, $ 10 visitors or after 5:30p $ 3 residents, $ 6 visitors), then
_​found my friend on her picnic blanket on the GRASS
(it’s not just concrete, y’all!),
_​changed in the Womens changing rooms/​restrooms
(shower stalls also available)
_​showered in the outdoor showers
_​played with my friends’ kids in the wade pool, then in
_​the 3′-12′ pool, then
_​brought the kids to the playground (swings, slides, rock climbing/​ladder wall/​etc)
The 3′-12′ pool is sectioned off by
_​3′-4′ where the kids play
_​5′-5 ½’ where the older kids play
_​6′-7′ for three lap lanes (mostly adults)
_​8′-12′ for the diving board and water slide section
There are plenty of lifeguards on duty: some in lifeguard chairs + one on the ground standing very attentively with a long floating device and a whistle ready to act. (Thankfully, no action was needed.)
Would return to this well-​maintained Moriello Pool!
