When we go to Connecticut in the summer, we never miss what’s going on at the VCA. The kids get ENTHRALLED in one creative thing or another, and I have to admit even us stodgy parents get involved. Great stuff, great space.

Sherman, CT
Housed in a big old church on the Historic Green of New Milford, this place has something to offer everyone. My kids go to the Art Camp for a few weeks every summer, and we all do studio time and special events during the year. Lots of kids go regularly after school, and I like to throw pots there for holiday gifts. There are classes on illustration, painting, costuming, etc.
There is also a great store for art supplies, really friendly staff and a congenial atmosphere. New Milford is lucky to have such a resource!
