What a lovely place! In the old Adrianna’s location. A good energy spot! They will be opening the idyllic outside patio this year too. They used to own a restaurant in New Haven and now this part of the state is blessed with world class Thai food. The tofu tastes like it could be home made, if it’s not — so soft and fluffy. Every single dish was prepared with love and care. Staff has sweet, gentle energy. Highly recommend!

I’m so grateful we have an authentic Thai restaurant closer to us now. The food is great, service is excellent. They make take-out a breeze. Food is fresh. They are also VERY polite about people with food sensitivities, which makes me love them even more.

My husband and I got take out from here last night. We got the fresh spring rolls to start. They were very tasty, fresh and we lived the peanut dipping sauce. Only criticism would be that the rolls did not have enough shrimp in them. We had the chicken pad Thai and the yellow curry chicken for our main meals. The pad Thai was very good and the curry chicken was awesome! Loved the flavors. We look forward to eating there again– next time we will dine out though!

Clean, friendly, delicious, FRESH food. I cannot say enough good things. Their spring rolls, soup, and eggplant are TODIEFOR. You MUST go and eat here if you love Thai food.

We had been curious about Thai Charm so my wife and I stopped in for dinner. The hostess/waitress was very friendly and the dining room was spotless. We weren’t sure what to order, so I chose minced chicken for my appetizer(loved it!) and my wife ordered wontons(she liked them a lot). For dinner, she got this sizzling beef dish, which she didn’t like. She would try something else next time. I ordered lemongrass shrimp. Lots of shrimp and an awesome peanut sauce. I wanted to order dessert – or at least a Thai coffee, but the waitress just brought the check before we could ask. Oh, well. But we’ll go back.

Hmm, it seems like I’m seldom moved to write a review these days unless a place merits five stars, but… Thai Charm merits five stars. We’ve worked our way through most of the noodle and curry dishes on the menu and have to conclude that it’s not just good Thai for the area; it’s good Thai for the entire region, NYC included. It’s not as hard-core authentic(read: spicy and stinky… good stinky!) as some of the Isan Thai places that have set up shop in the past 5 – 10 years or so in NYC, but Thai Charm holds its own against places like Pam Real Thai. Servers were very nice to our young children at a recent lunch, though the restaurant is set up for fairly civilized dining, with white tablecloths and soft background music. Lunch specials are very well priced for the quality and quantity of food. What a great addition to the New Milford area dining scene!

excellent. fresh tasty food. would go again often if we lived the area. located on a busy route not in the commercial center in a stand alone converted house — not likely to garner patrons from elsewhere just passing through. inside is pleasant. staff is attentive and friendly. food enjoyable and better than most. if you are near and like Thai, definitely give it a try

We ordered take out since we just moved into the area and needed something easy. The coconut soup was really good, probably one of the best I’ve ever had. I also got the green curry with chicken and that was a top one also. The sizes of the vegetables are a little weird, super big and ended up being mouthfuls. Would definitely be easier to eat if it was chopped up smaller. My husband got the Indonesian fried rice and really liked it as well. Definitely will be going back for more take out and checking out the dining experience in the future!

The food is here is really good especially for the area. The restaurant is still quite new and my hope is that they address the service issues as they start to settle in. My friend and I waited over 50 minutes for our food. We were also told that we could not order the fresh spring rolls because they were too busy and it would take too much time. Pros: good is great, portion size is perfect, staff is friendly. Con: they need to do some more remodeling, hopefully hire another server or become more efficient. I will return but mostly likely for takeout.

Husband and I were out on a drive, and started getting hungry. We fired up Unilocal on our phones, and found Thai Charm to be the highest rated restaurant in the nearby vicinity. We nearly missed it, because it was such a low-key and unassuming location. It looks like a house on the side of the road. We walked in at 4:00 p.m., early in their dinner shift. Because of the early hour, the place was relatively quiet, but there was a party already seated at a large table in the corner. The place is clean and tidy, and the waitstaff were friendly, knowledgeable, and competent. Even empty as it was, the place smelled WONDERFUL. We ordered a pork dish called the«Basil Wild Boar», and a shrimp Pad Thai. The waiter asked if we wanted«spicy», and offered us a scale of 1 – 5. We picked a level 3 for both dishes. Husband and I shared both dishes. The food was fresh, flavorful, fragrant, subtle, and well-balanced. The portions were plentiful enough to satisfy both of us with only those two entrees. While the waiter performed the matter-of-course mention of drinks, appetizers, and desserts, at no point were we feeling pressured, and that was a nice change of pace from other restaurants. While we were eating, the dining room slowly filled up. By 5:00 p.m., the place was more than half full, and it looked like it would be doing brisk business within the next hour. We certainly plan to return here often, both to dine in and for takeout. I would recommend this place to anyone who is interested in eating Thai food.

…I’ve lived in the city, and this is really good Thai food. I had the steamed pork dumplings, and Chicken red curry(usually my test for a new thai place) — and both were spectacular. I’ve been to the Thai place in Southbury, but this was far superior and rivals any Thai I’ve had anywhere — even Philadelphia — which has some amazing places. I did read some of the other reviews who mentioned staff or the ambience, and clearly they responded. The staff was attentive, the food service was prompt, and the surroundings were really lovely… in the evening small candles at the table, a nice interior(where everything is spotless), and my water glass was refilled as needed without prompting. As soon as I got home, I sent off an email telling friends that they«had to go to this place!» Thai food around here is sparse, but this is a great addition and very well done. Even if you use it as take-out, it’s worth the drive. The portions are solid, the price is surprisingly inexpensive, and the food is really top quality. I really couldn’t believe it… and you won’t either. Go!

Thai Charm has really delicious food, a nice ambiance, and for the most part, service that is extremely attentive and accommodating. The appetizer sampler is fantastic. Get it. The Chili Lime chicken dish is wonderful. Get it. Loved the coconut pudding dessert(even though it was served in some odd little circular ramekins). Get it too. No reservations, but they do well with babies in highchairs and car seats on the fly! We will definitely be going back again and again.

Thai Charm is so delicious. There was quite a need for a good Thai restaurant in the area and my husband and I are very pleased! The service was great; the servers were friendly and attentive. I got the Thai tea and yellow curry(a little spicy but good) and my husband got the basil fried rice. We are so happy!

They don’t take reservations so expect a wait if you’re looking to be there on the weekends. We were there the other night and the service was a little slow and we waited awhile for the food(they only had one chef on), but the food was absolutely worth the wait. Everything we had was delicious. They’re the same owner as Thai Delight in Newtown but Thai Charm is so much better. Excellent!

We ate here Sunday and liked the place. We have tried a few places here in the Danbury area and this is the best so far. We tried the Beef Basil and thought it was just okay. The yellow curry beef was really good. I liked that dish very much. They can adjust the heat and sweetness of the dishes. We asked for Beef Basil to be less sweet and spicy and they actually got it right. Few places seem to follow those request.
