Esperanza is the most amazing massage therapist I have ever had. She relieved my back pain when I most needed relief. I have since gone back and her gifted hands always know where the tight spots are and I leave feeling relaxed and renewed for the active life I lead. I will continue to come back!

I have been going to Esperanza off and on for a year now, and I just can’t say enough good things about the experience. I was extremely nervous my first time around — I had avoided massages because I am not a huge fan of being touched. My aching back/​shoulders and chronic headaches finally won out over anxiety — and I am so very thankful for Esperanza’s patience, kindness, and the overall soothing environment of Massage and You. She listens attentively, and understands that everyone is unique and requires different focus. She has transformed my shoulders, opening them up in ways I had begun to believe weren’t possible.
She is a minimalist in terms of décor, but has just the right touches to make you feel calm and cared for. She does complimentary aromatherapy, and the bed is beyond comfy (not to mention clean and SO WARM). The last time I was in I had to sit for a few minutes and sip water afterwards because I was so calm and relaxed. No way I could drive the 25 minutes home without snoozing!
Highly highly recommend, you won’t be sorry.
(Also, she runs great deals on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and at other times as well, if you check the website. Makes regular massages a possibility even on my measly teacher salary!)

I highly recommend Massage and You. Esperanza is a talented massage therapist, who takes the time to do it right. I have seen her for sports related issues and she has been able to accurately diagnose and resolve. Both my husband and I try to budget a massage with Esperanza as frequently as we can, we will go nowhere else. In fact, I am certain any other massage therapist will seem so-​so after Esperanza. Also, massage studio is immaculately clean and professional, the whole experience is top-​notch.

Highly recommended! I’ve been going to her for years. I personally think she’s the best massage therapist in the area. I’ve had massages throughout the country at different resorts and she is as good if not better. Very clean, warm environment. If you have a sports injury let her know she can help work out the problems. I’ve gone for back spasms she’s helped tremendously.

I have to echo the prior two reviews: Esperanza is a very, very highly trained, professional, and effective masseuse, and the experience she offers is top notch even by global standards. Over the years, massage treatments have become a thing for my husband and me: We regularly purchase them for each other on holidays, special occasions, or just because. As a result, I’ve been fortunate to experience wonderful massages all over the world, including in Thailand, Indonesia, Japan and NYC, sometimes at well-​known spas.
These places have nothing on Esperanza, whom I rank among the top five masseuses I’ve ever visited. She combines strength, precision and delicacy, and she is truly responsive to the tension in your muscles. Her specialty is deep tissue massage, but she is excellent at calibrating the pressure to whatever degree you find comfortable.
She is not irksomely chatty and her approach is clinical in the best sense: The entire experience is about treating and healing the body and mind.

Esperanza is truly amazing at her work. She has a vast clinical understanding of the body and has incredibly strong hands. Ive been training for a Triathlon this summer and needed some intense deep tissue work to help me stay injury free, Esperanza has become my go to masseuse and I know I couldn’t keep going without her. Not only is she knowledgeable, she has a super sweet demeanor and will ask you before your session what exactly you need, then give you just that. I really can’t recommend her enough to everyone I meet. Five stars!

A very good friend of mine gave me a gift certificate for a 90 minute full-​body relaxation massage and it may have been the greatest gift I have ever been given.
I found the website easy to navigate and scheduled my appointment online as well.
I’ve had massages here and there but this was an EXPERIENCE. The whole place was very clean and minimalist. Esperanza took the time to talk with me beforehand and explained everything she was going to do during my treatment and asked if me about any trouble spots or likes/​dislikes.
The massage room itself was also very clean and the disrobing area even had a little dish for my jewelry (nice touch!). The table was heated and the sheets/​blankets were soft and heavenly. There was groovy new age music playing and Esperanza asked me if it was too loud (it was perfect) and asked me to select an essential oil for some aromatherapy while being massaged: I chose Ylang Ylang — sheer bliss.
I can’t recommend this place enough — I left there feeling like a different person, I went a week ago and my shoulders are still looser than they’ve been in months. I will be back again, for sure. All I kept thinking was what an amazing gift to receive and how I wanted to give massages to everyone I know and love! AND I need to find a way to rearrange the family finances so I can get massages here on a regular basis! I am so totally worth it!
