Homeward Bound

When you walk into this store — you fall in love with the product lines, the vignettes. The salespeople are attentive and accomodating.
Then you place an order and it all changes.
We ordered a sofa in a custom fabric, two sidechairs, an area rug, coffee and end table. The older saleswoman came out to our home and spent almost three hours helping me decide what would work for the room. She knew it was a family room. The original fabric we ordered was discontinued so she convinced us to go with a weave pattern in a similar color family. When the sofa arrived — it was smaller than what we were expecting. After 30 days, the threads of the fabric began pulling. Then, the threads of the area rug began pulling.
After phoning the owner with our issues, we were flatly told that salesperson was no longer with the company and since both pieces were custom ordered we had no recourse.
