I’ve been coming to this bagel shop for years! It’s usually hit or miss. Their bagels are amazing. Always good however their cream cheese can sometimes taste old or not up to par. I get olive cream cheese. My advice would be to go in the morning everything is fresh. The customer service after 2 is horrible. I don’t know his name but he is rude. I have known him to charge more in the afternoon than in the morning.

Look at the Egg Salad or Tuna Salad in the showcase. It has a crusty glaze over it. How can they put this bacterial nightmare on someones sandwich? The Bagels are flavorless and they handle food and money with no gloves. Way too unsanitary for me…

Today I go in there and get 3 bagels asking the guy for peanut butter and jelly on bagel and couple of other bagels with cream cheese he goes and puts cream cheese with jelly !!! This place was better before now it’s starting to fall apart, the register Mexican decent person does not know how to take orders or ring up the register. Other younger person that’s always there is polite and fast, this place has to replace employees

My boyfriend and I live fairly close to Borderline Bagels and have visited it several times recently. Unfortunately, each time we leave with our order, it is not the exact order we placed. I always just chalk it up to human error, but this is now the second weekend in a row that something was wrong with our order. Today he requested an everything bagel, spicy mustard, ham, lettuce and onions. What I received instead was, the bagel, minus the spicy mustard and adding munster cheese. I realize they are kids behind the counter, but perhaps the owner should pay a little more attention to making sure the staff has an effective system in place considerint this is not the first time.

No no no no. Subpar. Quality of bagels is inconsistent. People behind the counter are profoundly inept and navigating getting in and out of here is a nightmare. Waste of time. Go to Dumont Hot Bagels, it’s two blocks away and way better.

This place makes their own bagels at the site so the bagels are soft and chewy. My favorite is everything bagel with veggie cream cheese. The bagel is huge and it keeps me full until later in the afternoon. Make sure to try with a freshly brewed cup of coffee. I really really like the taste of it as well. Highly recommended!

I have been regular at this place for some time and hands down the best bagel in the neighborhood. Unlike some bagel stores, they make their own bagels at the store and if you are lucky, you can one just came out of the oven. The bagel size is huge so I usually ask them scoop out in the middle, which is perfect. Employees are nice and friendly too. Highly recommended.

They just screw up so often! Adding ketchup to everything (we’re pretty clear on the «no ketchup» instructions, forgetting bacon, overcharging. it’s just not worth it.
And what kind of bagel place runs out of plain bagels on a Sunday morning?!

I like to come here. I tried our locations bagels store, but this is the place where I come. The workers are nice and fast, I like the bagels too. My favorite is Sesame and Everything with Cream cheese.

I go here all the time for breakfast and I love it, but today I went for lunch and was so disappointed…:(I asked for the club sandwich on a bagel. They had it written as a lunch special. I got the completely wrong sandwich and it was on a hero. I kept trying to explain to the guy but he just kept saying its the same price. And there was no one else around:(I really don’t want to ever go back, even though I’ve been going for 7 years…:((

Boder Line will meet the standards of a Jersey bagel lover like myself, but may not impress the novice Garden State breakfast goer.
In my opinion, the average circumference of the bagels could be larger, but I find the eggs, bacon & cheese between them satisfying enough to keep going back. And I return because they get orders right, serve it fast & sell it for cheap.
The coffee isn’t always my first choice, I drink it on days I haven’t had my caffine yet, which is rare, but happens. (You don’t want to run into me on these days). Anyway, thanks to this store, I can continue to support my bagel breakfast sandwhich eating habit either at one of the small tables they have available inside, or more than likely on the go, out & about.
