I stayed in the loft for a long weekend with my dog and some friends. It was terrific! The accommodations were so cozy and comfortable. Great kitchen, lots of light throughout the place, wonderful flooring, just beautiful. Reservations and checkin were quick and easy. Staff was great, so friendly and accommodating. You can tell they put a lot of care into the property. And I can’t tell you how wonderful it is to find a place where my dog was welcomed as warmly as I was. Everything was super clean and the décor was lovely; extremely comfortable furnishings and the bed I had was so comfortable it made me want to replace the one I have at home! Plenty of room for everyone – it felt comfortable and homey as soon as we walked in. Something I really liked was how welcome my dog was. I’ve investigated other places that allow dogs. Little Pond Lodge was the first place that didn’t make it seem like a hassle to have him with me. We all loved it, had a fantastic time, and hated leaving! I can’t wait to go back.

Just got home from a long weekend at Little Pond Lodge, Wow what a great time! Staff was friendly, Cabin was spacious and clean, looked like we had been the first people there. I can not say enough how much I enjoyed the place. Gas fireplace was nice each night and kitchen was a great touch. I think I will be making a habit of staying here when I am in the area again.

We loved our vacation in the woods. It was beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing. The cabins are great and met all the prior expectations we had from reading the reviews. The kitchen and grill area was stocked with all your necessities.(You still have to buy your food… lol). Everything is close by, Dells, winery, fishing… The only negative… no pool. The owners are super nice! We’re planning a fall trip now.

This past winter, I spent a weekend in a Little Pond 4 person cabin and had a great time. The cabin is clean and spacious. The full kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cups, silverware, knives, pots & pans, coffee maker, microwave, paper towel, aluminum foil, dish soap, spices, and even coffee and sugar. There is no dishwasher, so you’ll have to do dishes by hand. There are 2 bedrooms furnished with a queen bed and 4 pillows. Only one of the rooms had an alarm clock in it. There are no dressers, but there’s a closet to hang clothes in. The gas fireplace in the living room makes the cabin so cozy and I enjoyed sitting by it. There is no central cooling or heating system. The standalone air unit is located near the kitchen. It can get pretty cold at night in the back bedrooms, so we had to sleep with our door open to get some heat. The bathroom gets pretty cold, too, and the hot water in the shower isn’t so hot. There is no wifi and weak cellular service at the cabin. It was kind of nice in a way to be free from the network for a short while. The cabin is surrounded by wood, and there’s maybe 10 minutes of hiking that can be done in the back. The fire pit in the back was nice to have at night. The nearest grocery store is about 10 minutes down the road, which is convenient. There were also a couple of restaurants that we went to with good food(like Shipwreck Bay). There’s a journal in the kitchen where past guests have logged their entry. It was interesting to read through some of the pages, all of which were positive reviews of the cabin. Some additional things I would bring to the cabin: hot cocoa, tea, drinking water, alarm clock, extra blanket, dish washing gloves, board games, and slippers.

I’ve stayed at many cabins and have travelled all over. By far these owners are my favorite. You’ll instantly feel like a long time friend. If you’re not familiar with the area no problem because Meredith and Justin will give you the scoop on all the best places around! I’ve been here a few times now and it keeps getting better and better. The cabins are beautiful with everything you’d need for retreating and relaxing. A full bath, full kitchen with all you’d need to cook a delicious meal, and my favorite part a nice big porch to hang out on and sip coffee while over looking one of the ponds. I love that there are bundles if wood for a camp fire, each cabin has their own unique spot for a camp fire. Once you’re here you will want to stay for a long time. It’s very relaxing and oh, don’t forget your dogs because they are dog friendly!!! Id keep writing except I need to go lay on the hammock in the woods!!! Each cabin has their own hammock perfect for relaxing on and reading a book. I love this place!

This place is amazing! A seriously perfect vacation spot — I don’t even know where to start in describing its awesomeness. The cabin was lovely, even more so than expected — perfectly rustic and cozy. Two simple, well-decorated bedrooms with comfy bedding(none of those cheap, scratchy hotel blankets) and big beds, a bathroom with all the standard stuff, a full kitchen complete with everything you could need — even seasonings and coffee, a big TV and comfy couch, and a gas fireplace! Outside: a porch with chairs, a grill, picnic table, fire pit and hammock. If you’re looking for a comfy, cozy place to spend time with family, friends or your sweetheart, this is the place for you. Location is perfect too — very near Buckhorn State Park which has plenty of hiking, a beach and other outdoorsy stuff like canoes & kayaks. Restaurants nearby if you’d like to go out for a meal, and two wineries for a fun daytime excursion. We visited for a romantic newlywed weekend, and when we arrived, the owners had placed a vase of beautiful flowers and a bottle of local wine on the counter in our cabin — such a sweet welcome! I seriously cannot recommend Little Pond Lodge more highly.
