Sad to see this place go but the quality has been declining for a while. I used to go there after work on Saturdays but the last time I went there my sandwich was quite bad. I threw most of it away.

Had a southwest salad, pretty good, but the service was terrible. The women behind the counter were rude & acted like I was bothering them when I asked questions. The tables felt like there were coated in grease & the place was dead at lunchtime. Hmm, wonder why. So many better places to spend my money. Will not b returning.

Sandwich was awful, sub was average. Sandwich bread stale and flooded with mayo, maybe because the bread was so stale they were trying to cover it up. Who knows. We just moved to the area and are looking for good places. It’s a shame since it’s only a mile from home. No opinion on their pizza since I haven’t had it. After stale bread I don’t think I will be going back.

I won’t say it’s the worst pizza I’ve ever had because I’ve had pizza in Florida. Honestly, it’s probably the second worst pizza I’ve had in New Lenox. Admittedly, pizza is the only thing I tried, maybe they make really great sandwiches or pasta as other reviewers have mentioned, but the pizza sucks and they are labeled as a pizzeria. That in itself tells me I don’t need to try anything else here. They really mound the cheese on, there is very little sauce, and the sauce that is on the pizza has almost no flavor. Very bland and every bite is really just a giant ball of rubbery cheese. I won’t ever return.

I went bowling last night, with my girlfriend & her family. I don’t eat bowling alley food so my girlfriend said there’s a pizzeria around the corner. First of all, a clear sign would be that there are no cars in front of this place. I’m giving this place only one star because it took forever to get our food, & the old lady had an attitude. We got home, & tried the pizza. To put it nicely, we didn’t eat it. My girlfriend lives near Italian Fiesta Pizza, & decided to order from them. Not going back to Jody’s, sorry.

Wish I could rate this place better but Weber you want a sub sandwich and there is no other customers around a d they tell you it will be 20 or 25 minutes for a child cut sandwich something is wrong a d they should not be serving them.

This place has slightly above average food. The prices are higher than I’d like. Nothing too special about this place. The service is slower than expected from similar restaurants. The patty melt is okay. I’ve had better combos. Never tried the pizza. They have a lot of Coca-Cola memorabilia in here, but nothing worth making the trip to see. They are closed on Mondays.

The bread they use on the sub sandwiches makes this place worthwhile — Samuel P is right, the subs are tasty. The boyfriend swears by the roast beef. However, I wouldn’t recommend anything else. For example, the cheesesticks taste like so many past fries, onion rings, and whatever else that had once shared their frying oil. It’s really gross and disturbing.

Food is actually pretty good, but the low rating is for their customer service and convenience. It’s a pizza place, right? They offer no delivery. No printed menus. When phone ordering, they are downright surly, and picking up your pie and paying doesn’t seem to make them any happier. It’s a shame; they have a tasty product(especially the stuffed pizza) but with so many pizza options in the Lincolnway area, I’ll give my business to the establishments that seem to appreciate it.

Jody’s Deli and Jody’s Pizzeria are the same place. I come here strictly for their sub sandwiches and I’ve been buying them for 10 years. When you walk in you’ll notice the Coca-Cola decorations everywhere. They have a neat collection to look at while you are waiting for your food. I’ve been sick of the usual sandwich places for a while(subway, jimmy johns, quiznos, potbellys) so I come here to get an old fashioned sub sandwich. They use fresh baked Turano bread(I think) and have an amazing sub sauce. I usually get the turkey and roast beef and I’ve been satisfied every single time I’ve been. The 5 stars are for their sub sandwiches. THEYARECLOSEDONMONDAYS.

I had the cheeseburger basket, A cheeseburger with fries, not anything special, it was OK but not great, just your average non chain burger place $ 6.25 with no drinks, just meh.
