The Wat Thammarattanaram Lao Buddhist temple is beautiful beyond words. It is truly a transcendental spiritual experience. I am so glad we came here and spent some time. It’s like stepping into a whole different realm, a different era. When we pulled up the monks were outside and they had no qualms about outsiders visiting their home. The physical beauty of the temple is to die for, it’s truly something to see in person. The colors, the architecture, the good vibes is definitely something to see first-​hand. This place is truly remarkable and mesmerizing.

This place is absolutely beautiful! Calming, serene. Free and a must see if visiting Louisiana. Located in a small Lao village it is secluded and very much off the beaten path. If you can find it you will be eternity changed.
