So guys I heard of this new online ordering site and it had offered me a discount if I use it to buy something and I was craving a quick night dinner after having a light dinner so I decided to place an order. I am adding one star to this review because the amount of food that I got for what i paid was a lot. However when it comes to taste and quality I dont think this place will be my chinese spot. I also dont think I will go here again. Food quality and taste was one star. Price and quantity was 3 stars. Customer service and how nice the employees were was 5 stars. So it could be just me or maybe I ordered the wrong things on the menu but I think that a fair rating of this place is 3 stars just because the lady who gave me my order followed my instructions to the tee and quantity was good and she was very nice.

Really good local Chinese takeout restaurant. The food is well cooked, well seasoned, not overly salty or oily. Delivery has been relatively quick and they are very friendly and seem to care about their customers satisfaction. I’ve had a few different options, the house special soup with wontons is delicious, hot and spicy dishes are served with some kick if you request it spicy. The rice and noodle dishes have been well done. We have a vegetarian in the family and there are a few nice veggie options. Give this place a shot I am glad I did.

The best Chinese food I ever ate. Good food and they always give huge amounts.

My family has been getting food from here for long as I can remember. It’s a family owned location and the people there are really nice. The food is good not great but as I said Nother views I’m totally spoiled as I lived in China. Thankfully wonton soup is not ruined for me when I lived abroad and I love love love this places wonton soup.
Overall their food is really well priced you can get a lot without breaking the bank. They have a delivery service which is awesome because as the weather is super cold out I don’t want to go outside and I want someone to come to me. You don’t even need to spend too much before they’ll deliver for you. And usually you get like the little extras like an eggroll or something.
If you go to the actual location it is a dive. It is clean but it’s tiny and there is street parking which is shitty. I think if they had six people sitting in there to eat it would be crazy. But I think they are now one of those places in new Hyde Park that belongs there and when you’re leaving or getting Chinese food pick up delivery whatever you think of this location. Because they’re great.

I have been eating Wong’s Garden for upwards of 15 years. I primarily order Sesame Chicken White Meat, No Broccoli, with White Rice and after having recently moved and forced to try other Chinese places that were absolutely terrible, I can now say this is my favorite Chinese restaurant. Anytime I tried the lo-​mein someone else I was with ordered, it was good. I just tried fried chicken wings for the first time recently and that was amazing. They are completely on the money 7.5 out of 10 times. Open late, deliver quick. Even with not being on point all the time, their worst is still better than others best. After so long, they earned the 5 stars in my book.

Great Chinese food. We love the wonton soup, moo shu pork, egg rolls and pork with snow peas. It’s fast, reasonable, and everything you could want in a «go-​to» Chinese place.

. Great for office ordering when you don’t have to relay 10 orders via phone. I got the beef and bean curd — and the bean curd was great! Not dried out at all. Very juicy. The prices are very inexpensive. I’ll be ordering from here again.

Good for the lunch specials! I’ve had a lot worse in chinese take-​out but Wong’s Garden seems to be good enuff for the New Hyde Park area for that quick and cheap lunch fill. Great value for the buck!

Good chinese food that’s convenient, and that you can get in a jiff. Reliable, and quick delivery.

Like any other Chinese take out place, they have their good days and they have their bad days!
On a good day, the egg foo young is excellent– nice and fluffy with excellent gravy. On a bad day you get a fried mashed pancake and a bucket of brown sludge to pour over it.
They deliver in the area and they do it rather quickly so we tend to order there quite a bit at the last minute.
Overall the food is fine, not stellar but good enough in a pinch.
