New ownership and they are very friendly and easy to talk to while you’re waiting. Pizza is very tasty and the specialty slices are very good. Prices are good. Definitely a repeat customer.

Wasn’t expecting to be in Long Island again so soon, but I was and ended up getting another pepperoni pie. Still delicious. Consistency is key.

The food is decent, but the service is not. We ordered food for delivery and the order was wrong when it was delivered. We called the restaurant and were told that they would give us the correct order, but that we would need to pick it up (even though we had it delivered in the first place). When we stated that, since it was their mistake, they should deliver the correct food, the person on the phone hung up on us. There are so many good pizza places in New Hyde Park/​Garden City Park area, there is no need to order food from a place that has such poor customer service. If you cannot count on a place to rectify their mistakes (which are bound to happen), it is not worth ordering from that place.

I love this place for the following reasons: The food is great, the selection is great and the guys who work/​own the place are great. This is the type of place where the people actually remember their customers and are very friendly and accommodating.
I usually go for their Buffalo chicken pizza and grandma slices. Never a disappointment.

Really tasty pizza, and tons of options to be found at Valentino’s. I have tried a number of their specialty slices — buffalo chicken, barbecue chicken, bruschetta with chicken cutlets, eggplant parmigiana, baked ziti slice, and they have all been wonderful.
I swear, they probably have between 10 – 12 different kinds of pizza to choose from if you go during the lunch or dinner hours. Plus, the counter help is super friendly and does not rush you (coughUmbertoscough) while you are trying to choose between the amazing slices. Highly recommended.
