I recently booked DJ Mike and his company for my venue and it was perfect. He had the utmost professionalism during our meeting to discuss all that I was requesting. He was accommodating even when I changed around a few things last minute, he showed up early to set up his equipments, and got the ball rolling pretty quickly. Him and his crew were very liked at my party and I would recommend NY Elite Entertainment’s DJ Mike to anyone who’s looking for a good DJ that will meet your needs and expectations for you and your guests. STAY AWAY FROM MIKE AND THIS COMPANY!!! When I originally booked Mike I asked him if he would be comfortable doing small announcements and introductions. He said he was totally fine doing that. During the week of my wedding I still hadn’t heard from him to discuss the songs we wanted played for the ceremony and reception but I assumed he had them because my wedding coordinator had already emailed him the schedule and song selections. But two days before the wedding I receive a frantic call from Mike saying that he needs me to send him both the songs we wanted plus the YouTube videos of the songs. My fiancé and I assumed he was using the these YouTube as reference and then would download the actual songs from iTunes. Wrong! So the wedding day comes and right before the ceremony, my wedding coordinator informs me that Mike is throwing a hissy fit about not wanting to make any announcements even though I verified this with him in emails months prior. During the procession he didn’t mix the songs properly so that everything felt rushed and the timing of the songs was off. I had to take time out of my cocktail hour because he had questions about what songs he should play during the reception. He kept asking if we wanted Pitbull and I repeatedly told him we wanted no Pitbull songs played. He claimed not to have the music files for the special dance called «The Grand March» even though I emailed all the files to him. Luckily I cc’d my wedding coordinator who forwarded him the files. This is not something a bride and groom should have to deal with on their wedding day. Mike is extremely unprofessional, doesn’t communicate effectively and does not put enough emphasis on customer satisfaction. We rewarded his slacker behavior by not tipping him and writing this review to warn future couples to go elsewhere for their DJ needs.
**After reading my negative review on Wedding Wire Mike proceeded to call me on the phone and call me a «liar» and a «disgrace» for giving him a negative review. He then had Wedding Wire flag my review so that it was removed from the website. Further goes to show that not only is he unprofessional but a bully as well***

We would like to thank Mike and his team for the excellent job you all did at our wedding reception! The photo booth was a hit with adults and children alike! The music was amazing and our guest loved you guys so very much we have been asked for your contact information for sweet sixteens and other parties! We highly recommend you guys to any and every one! Your professionalism is untouchable! I am so happy that you covered our entertainment on this very special day! We could not be happier with your service. I cannot praise you enough and I will say that anyone who is looking to hire a professional and truly amazing company should look no further than your company!
