We were very disappointed that they were not family friendly at all. No strollers, no kids menu. After going to the North Pole Express, we were hungry and looking for some good food. The food was decent but not worth the hassle of not being family friendly. On the flip side our waiter was awesome! He was so nice and accommodating.

The view of the river was great. For the price of the food, it should have been much better. Ordered Brie which was supposed to be crusted with almond and served with a strawberry compote. Was served what appeared to be a breaded and fried cheese stick with a side of strawberry jelly. Soup was 8 dollars per bowl, which would have been fine with us had it not been 90 percent broth and not very flavorful. Apple salad with goat cheese was very mediocre, there are better varieties at Wawa these days. Service started ok and got worse as our meal went on. Once we got our food our server never checked on us, despite walking by our table numerous times. All in all, this is a place I might stop for a drink and the view, but definitely not for food. My husband and I both left hungry, disappointed, and 70 dollars poorer for it.

Martine’s is a really pleasant restaurant, with great views of the river and Lambertville. We sat at the bar for dinner, and the bartender was friendly and helpful. I love the interior of Martines, it is open yet cozy. and the outdoor seating on the Delaware on a nice day is the best. I had pork with a guava BBQ sauce for dinner and it was a large portion of pork. It was served with zucchini and fingerling potatoes. The sauce was great, especially with the potatoes. My friend had red wine of some sort — Martines has a good selection. He said it was good. I had club soda, the vintage was exceptional.

Without a doubt, the most insufficient meal I’ve ever had. My wife and I each got the soup of the day and the fig salad with chicken. The soup of the day — tomato with chicken and chorizo — was little more than 4 oz of tomato soup and a few measly scraps of chicken and chorizo. The salad was the size of a side salad, again, with hardly any chicken. The salad was $ 22! What a rip off. I was searching on my phone for restaurants to go to after we left while I was still eating my salad since I was starving.

Just walked in. The hostess not friendly at all-didn’t even get up from her seat to ask us the size of our party.

Fabulous view sitting outside overlooking the Delaware. My husband had a watermelon Fig Gazpacho soup which was out of this world. He also had the special petite filet with watermelon arugula and feta cheese salad which was cooked perfect. I had a Portabella burger which was also just fine. Great place to visit before going to the Playhouse. The service was wonderful and they were very aware of being quick so that we could make Our play. Great little spot in New Hope don’t miss it.

Spent quite a bit of time there on a late Wednesday afternoon, and enjoyed the back patio on the Delaware River. The view was spectacular with the river, many ducks and the bridge to Lambertville NJ in the distance. We enjoyed the draft beer and a couple spicy Margaritas. The food was very good(a little pricey). My husband had the Basil Ravioli(special of the day) and I had the Smoked Seafood Appetizer. Good service, good food and an extremely nice setting. A good place to take a seat and enjoy Bucks County.

Great service an ambiance. I had a fresh house salad, dressed perfectly and the salmon special, which was grilled with little neck clams and ravioli in a cream sauce. Light, but filling. Definitely hope to go back!

Turn a random corner after an afternoon of shopping and perusing in New Hope and you’ll find a hidden gem at Marine’s River House Restaurant. Bartender on Friday night makes some strong drinks to set the ambiance. Outdoor area sits alongside the Delaware River and live musicians sing sweet melodies while you enjoy delicious food from their seasonal menus. Their tenderloin veal is delicious and they make a mean chocolate martini. If you like craft beer, this isn’t your kind of place but if your willing to try something new, you’ll be pleasantly surprised :)

We love sitting out on the deck in nice weather, but we’ve eaten inside many times in the winter. The food is usually very good although we have had a time or 2 over the years where it wasn’t great. We love their pâté, it’s served properly with a delicious fruit chutney, chopped red onion, cornichons and crisp French bread. We love the atmosphere, we love sitting by the railing looking out at the river, we love eating at the bar or even in the dining room with a Riverview, it’s just a great place to end up the day New Hope.

Disappointing. Food was mediocre. Burger was not cooked to specification. Salad was eh. Was hoping for more and service was impersonal and neglectful.

Take a walk down that street you would never turn down and you will run right into Martine’s. There is plenty of outdoor seating but it fills up fast when the weather is nice. If you can get a seat outside here on a nice day, you will definitely enjoy a pleasant meal with a gorgeous view. The décor and menu are just like the town they are in — eclectic and colorful. To me, this is more of a lunch or casual dinner place. The atmosphere doesn’t lend itself to a romantic dinner in your best dress. Food was good — not great. I had the pasta special which came with a good portion of jumbo shrimp in a pesto cream sauce. My only complaint was that it was just drowning in sauce which overpowered the flavors of the dish — maybe just lightly dressing it in the sauce would have been better. My fiancé had the risotto which also came with shrimp in a coconut curry sauce. Really great flavors in this dish but it is on the heavier side. Certainly worth a trip here for a drink on the patio or to enjoy some live music when they have a band playing.

Not that great — I’m from out of town and was excited about the cool setting right on the river. However, the food was mediocre and the staff was a bit unkempt. Bartender was kind of a weirdo and was drinking behind the bar.

Don’t plan on going here if you have small children. Apparently they have had issues before with high chairs and they wouldn’t allow our stroller on the deck although there was plenty of room. Really disappointing! They missed out on our business and we won’t be returning. Also, their gin cocktail was watered down.

If I could give 3.5 I would. It was close to a 4 but not there. Food was good, not great. Had the steak sandwich and my girlfriend had the crab cake. The crab cake was much better. Nothing to really write home about regarding the food. The best part about the place was the atmosphere. Overlooking the Delaware and practically on the water. A 5 star for atmosphere. The service was very attentive and friendly too

They have unique dishes, beautiful restaurant and bar, and outdoor seating on the deck along the river. This is a locals place and that’s what you think going during the winter. A lot of late night friends frequent this place. Sort of like the local Cheers.

Went here on Father’s day. The place got crowded by 6PM but still was not loud. Great deck seating with tables for couples closest to the water. I got their ribeye steak salad and wifey went for halibut while substituting the sides from salmon. There was no additional charge for the switch. We also got their fried oysters and were not disappointed at all. Servers were adults and maybe a tad slow, but very professional.

Been here twice so far, for dinner and lunch and will definitely be coming back for more. This place has a very colorful menu and an amazing dinning experience outside on the deck. If you are a sucker for outside dinning with an amazing view of the river, you have to give this place a try. For dinner, we had to eat inside as it was raining at the time, my only complaint was that this place gets pretty crowded on saturday night and with that gets very noisy. If you are in a mood for a quiet and romantic place and they only have inside dinning at the time, i would definitely pass on to somewhere else. I had to take a few Tylenols after having dinner here, yeah, it was as if i had front stage tickets to senior citizens hearing impaired Bingo night… BINGO !!! For dinner i had chicken liver pâté’, strawberry salad and filet mignon. I would definitely pass and not recommend the liver pâté’, not sure if maybe it wasn’t fresh, but it had a very very bitter taste, it went down like a teaspoonful of bad tasting cough medicine. Thank god i had an alcoholic drink nearby to «chase it with»… The strawberry salad was very refreshing, rich with taste and the rosemary cider dressing went perfect with this salad. The filet mignon was also cooked to perfection(medium rare), had great flavor, was very tender and went perfectly well with their red wine demi glacé, whipped potatoes and asparagus. Our second outing to Martines was for lunch, and i was even more impressed with their food and outside dinning. Weather was perfect and we had a chance to dine on the deck, and I’m sure as you know, every woman enjoys a nice big deck with a gorgeous view… We split the strawberry salad, i had their London Broil sandwich(phenomenal) and wifey had the Pastrami and Rye. Both of these sandwiches were very flavorful, tender and juicy, but not greasy. Making my mouth water as i type this. Also they had very good fries. Overall it was a very tasty lunch with an amazing view and weather, one that i keep reminiscing to. I would probably recommend their lunch menu over their dinner menu, but maybe with future dinner outings at Martines, i will change my mind, or maybe i’ll just premeditate myself with Tyelnol…
