We live in Torrington, which is practically a dead zone for good food, including pizza (minus pizzeria Marzanos, but my boyfriend prefers an American style pizza). It’s 100% worth the drive from the Winsted side of Torrington to the canton side of new Hartford to get their pizza. Amazing.

This is our «go to» place. If we have the grandkids along. we go to the restaurant side. If we are on our own or with another couple, we eat in the bar. Great food, enormous portions (the calzones are what looks like an entire large pizza folded over), the cook is accommodating for dietary needs, and good service. The steaks (I always get cajun style) are great. In the bar, the waitress or bartender keeps my beer full as needed and is attentive. The only thing I would want better is the wings. I am sort of picky with my wings and theirs are not the best. We live in the area and go there about every 2 weeks — more than anywhere else.

This is a nice family restaurant. The food is generally well prepared, my favorite are the rack of ribs. I believe they are the best in the area. There are no waits when being sat.

Eh. An okay experience. Went here for lunch. Nice enough staff, but extremely slow delivery of the food, and nothing special about the décor or environment. Kind of a standard roadside diner experience.

Normally we have friendly wait staff here but today we have a moody, unfriendly and disinterest waitress who acts as though she would rather be anywhere else but here. First words out of her mouth when she came to our table was, «Well?».
