When I moved here about 4+ years ago my neighbor invited me over for dinner. He had picked up a whole rotisserie chicken with an array of delicious sides. I really enjoyed the food so much, it became my regular place to pick up a fast meal. Scott’s also made homemade subs on fresh Italian rolls, salads, etc. The owners provided a friendly atmosphere and were knowledgable about running this small local mom and pop store. To my dismay, new ownership took over and has ruined all the good things this place had to offer. I will not shop here again after several bad experiences. The food quality is horrible. Ive purchased food that had to be thrown out. The cake tasted moldy, the spare ribs and sides tasted spoiled, the food looks like it sits in the cases for several days to a week. I feel awkward walking into the store, not sure why, it’s not booming with customers, for one thing. This place used to always be busy. You can’t expect to sell food that is not made fresh daily, past its expiration, etc ;people won’t return. I feel bad in writing this but I don’t want anyone to get sick.

Try the Italian sub or any of the wraps. The buffalo wrap is my favorite! The sides are good too. I’ve never tried the pre boxed salad it any if the desserts but everything else is great and the price is perfect. They also sell 7up which is hard to find around here.

New ownership has ruined this place. They were a great place for lunch with a variety of things to choose from. Now all of their food looks like leftovers from two weeks ago. What a shame that this local gem had decayed into a gross convience store.

My mother is from New Egypt so of course we know about Scott’s. I greatly enjoy their breakfast sandwhiches and also try to make it before breakfast is over if I have to drive past there. Eggs are always cooked perfectly and when I did eat pork, the Bacon was cooked nice and crispy. I haven’t had their other food but it always smells awesome. Scott, the owner, is incredibly nice. Great establishment and it shows why they have been around for years.

Yes, it’s a local convenience store, but they also serve food and it’s pretty good. I usually like the wraps or the paninis, where selections/specials rotate daily. There are a few tables to sit at inside or you can grab something to go. The last time we ate lunch there, the owner gave us two chocolate chip cookies for free. Works for me!
