Mayuri was excellent! The decorations were beautiful! She was willing to work with our ideas and most importantly our budget. Very flexible, attentive and responsible. We had a school banquet for which she decorated and everyone loved it! I would most certainly recommend her !

Mayuri is not only a florist — she is an artist! She did the floral arrangements, centerpieces, stage, and décor for my sister’s wedding with 500+ guests two years ago. I loved her work so much that I booked her for my own wedding last month! She is respectful, professional, and above all, cares about the work she delivers! She also ensures that she works within your budget so you can still get the artistic look you want, but within your price range. Mayuri’s service and attention to detail cannot be beat! She works from her studio within her home, but her work was better than any of the other florist shops I looked into in the tri-​state area.

I rarely write reviews on here, but I loved my florist for our wedding so much, I absolutely have to.
Mayuri was amazing… worked within my budget and made our wedding beautiful!!! Looked like we spent much more than we did. She was extremely responsive throughout the whole planning process and we got endless complements on all of the arrangements… she was fantastic!!!

Mayuri did a fanastic job with everything for our wedding. She did the floral arrangements for all of the events and was also our day of event planner. She did a beautiful job on the backdrops/​decorations for the garba night, wedding and reception. She is really hardworking and dedicated to her brides. She was always readily available and easy to contact whenever I had a question or needed anything. Also, she has lots different and creative ideas that were really useful in my planning. She is very prompt and helps keep everyone on schedule as far as any decisions that need to be made, ie: entrance music, food choices, different ceremonies etc. Thus making sure nothing is left to last minute planning.
On the day of the wedding, she really did her best to make sure everyone was where they needed to be at the designated times. Everything went really smoothly on the day of our wedding and I definitely couldn’t have done it without Mayuri’s help.

Mayuri did an incredible job for my wedding, definitely beyond my expectations for the budget I gave her. In the wedding industry in NY, it is hard to find someone like her– a budget-​friendly seasoned professional and communicator who has your best interest at heart. Since her studio is based in her house in New City, she was able to create 30 reception centerpieces (14 tall and 16 short), 2 church alter arrangements, 8 boutonnieres, 3 corsages, 8 bridesmaid bouquets and 1 bridal bouquet all for about 4K. She also set up the memory table for us in the reception hall which I didn’t want to leave to chance.
She was one of the first vendors I met with and I was grateful for her advice and straightforwardness. She took the vision I had for the centerpieces and bouquets, making them 10 times better than I expected in terms of the vivid colors and arrangement.

I truly can’t thank Mayuri and her team enough for EVERYTHING that they did for my wedding! From the very first day I met her I knew I trusted her enough to take care of my wedding. Her ideas and her take charge approach were exactly what I needed. She was very quick to figure out my style and what I was attracted to and was able to envision what I wanted (even though I wasn’t quite aware of what I wanted!). I could go on and on about the ways Mayuri made this the best event ever, but I’ll keep it to a minimum. My hair stylist bailed on me two and a half weeks before the wedding. Mayuri was quick to offer names/​people to help. And of course it rained the entire week leading up to my outdoor wedding… Mayuri had been watching the weather constantly and when we finally decided to move it inside, she really brought the garden into the hotel for me so I was able to get my dream garden wedding, albeit indoors! I HIGHLY recommend her to everyone! And if you give her any creative freedom you will not regret it! Her ideas and creativity will probably go beyond anything you could imagine, and those little touches really made it all extra special. Oh, and one last bit… over two weeks later… my bouquet was still pristine and looked like the flowers had just been picked. Amazing quality!

Words cannot describe how beautiful our wedding venue looked after Mayuri was finished! From the initial consult, I described my vision and she made it a reality and more. Knowledgeable and so easy to work with, I could not imagine working with anyone better. From the wedding arch, to centerpieces, memory table, and right down to my bouquet everything was perfectly done. I would recommend her to anyone!!!

If you are looking for a florist that will help you set up the flowers address your needs this is the ONE!
If she were in NYC I would not be able to afford her. But, she is in Rockland county and very affordable.
I am still getting compliments on the flowers. My daughters dress showed her bra and Mayuri got out the sewing kit. I am immersed that she went to every table and quietly fixed the caterers mistakes. With just stating my opinion on the napkins the hotel put out, she addressed them to my liking!
It was the flowers, the color, the theme, the thought! My daughter had it all that day. I was happy. The sweet sixteen was beautiful. I know who will do my flowers for my daughters wedding flowers. In fact, all my flower shopping. No more 1 – 800 flowers for me, not me any more!

Yesterday I needed to send a birthday gift of flowers to Congers but it was 2pm and I needed them delivered by 3:30 because the recipient was going to leave work early that day. I searched for florists that were near her work and found several but with each florist I called I got the same indifferent treatment and a total lack of professionalism… until I called Mayuri’s Floral Designs. I spoke with Mayuri directly and she was immediately friendly, courteous and enthusiastic to help me out. Mayuri tried to track down her driver to confirm he would return in time to deliver my flowers but after several attempts to reach him Mayuri called me back and said she would personally deliver the flowers (her shop was the furthest from my recipient). I expected a heavy premium for such service but in the end the price was exactly in my budget and her modest delivery fee worth every penny. The floral arrangement was exactly to my specifications and the recipient loved them. I own a boutique wine store and have prided my self for the customer service I deliver… Mayuri is a kindred spirit! In this awful recession boutique wine shops and professional florists are hurting because people are flocking to volume discounters, I encourage you to call Mayuri first… if you want service and professionalism then support these kinds of businesses.

I cannot believe the terrific attention and service I received from Mayuri’s! After ordering flowers for delivery via phone or the internet for my friends and family for years from Sheu’s (in Congers, they retired!), I switched to one of the local flower shops in New City and was sorely disappointed (when I ordered flowers from them on the phone, they act like they are doing me a favor… I ordered a bouquet that was delivered, that I saw a few days later, and it was filled with cheap daisies for a 75 $ bouquet)…
Anyway, I thought I would order from an alternative and I found Mayuri’s on Unilocal and I thought I would give it a try – … Mayuri made a beautiful bouquet, and ensured proper delivery, despite the fact that it required repeated visits to my mother’s home (she didn’t want the flowers to die in the icy weather if left outside– I have never had a florist have concerns about the weather and the condition of my flowers!). It was service and attention like I’ve never rec’d before (even when ordering in person!)
