Mama Gina’s

I created a Unilocal account just to give this place the review it deserves. Mama Ginas by far has the best pizza for this area. I am originally from Long Island and my pizza standards are very high especially on the crust. I have to say that outside of NY I have not found better pizza crust. It was perfect, so that excuse about the NY water is why the pizza is so good goes out the window in my opinion. Up until today I believed that myself. The toppings are very good quality, the sauce is homemade and very very good and the only thing I can say that I wish was different — they are only open on Friday and the weekend when the farmer market is. This place is a hidden gem and when they are open I would go out of my way to get it.

Pizza actually isn’t bad. Nice crisp crust, decent amount of cheese. Bumping this to 4 stars because a tasty cheese slice at $ 1.60 is nothing to complain about.

Tried and tested by a pizza-​loving friend. He was extremely happy with his slices and even brought a few home for his wife. I had the white pizza with ricotta … so good! I usually don’t get too thrilled with pizza nowadays, but this was great. I definitely recommend this place if you are nearby!

Best pizza in new castle! Love the variations of white pizza they always have a slice ready. Great crust too — new york style. Located inside new castle farmers market Wish they were open all week long!
