The best Greek dogs, period! My buddies and I would go here for lunch and we all got the same thing. Three Chili Cheese Dog’s and a large Chili Cheese Fries with extra chili! My max was 6 dogs in one sitting. I wish they shipped their Greek sauce!

Nothing is better than this. NOTHING. I seriously have DREAMS about the chili cheeseburgers and chili cheese fries. I just ate there yesterday and I want more again. Thankfully it’s about an hour away from me so… I won’t get as overweight as I would if it was right here in the burgh. I have toyed with opening one of these in pittsburgh just so I could have it all the time. I NEEDTHISINMYLIFE. This is an old fashioned hot dog/burger joint. The Cherry Pop is old school and it is EVERYTHING. The walls are nauseating. The bathrooms are just 1 toilet with a door and sink. I’m serious. If you haven’t eaten here, you haven’t lived.

This small quaint hot dog shop has a chili to compete with every big boy on the block!!! Outstanding is an understatement. Their chili is so good, you can buy it in containers to go! Their fries are just as incredible, make sure you don’t skip em. Their buns might be a little blah, but while your face is covered in chili and cheese you won’t even notice

This review is for the downtown New Castle location on Washington St. How can they screw up an awesome old-fashioned looking hot dog restaurant? Answer: Everything that you wouldn’t expect from a hot dog restaurant. 25 minutes of waiting(for a hot dog!) even when they weren’t crowded, cold flavorless dogs, runny flavorless chili, incompetent service. It was a real disappointment. The fries were okay, and the prices are excellent.

Was driving by and decided to try the hot dogs and fries. Had a chili dog and fries. The chili dog was alright but the fries were undercooked. I guess after having so many chili dogs and fries at Jib-Jab in Girard OH my standards are pretty high. So after trying the food at M & P Coney Island I will stick with the better food at Jib-Jab.

Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe, come up here and bring a pad to take some notes. Great dogs, incredible sauce, delicious fries. THIS is how it’s done.

Great hotdogs and fries. We got 4 chili dogs a fry and a milkshake as well as a slice of pie. Yumm! Afterwards we got a pint of chili to take home. Great service. Just takes a while to get food.

I have been eating at Coney Island for as long as I can remember. In my opinion no one beats their chili dogs. Their chili and cheese fries are the best ive ever had. I think it has to do with the fact that they use shredded cheddar cheese on top compared to the«melted» kind that most hot dog shoppes offer. Whenever I’m in the area and have the chance I go to Coney Island. There is no place in NE Ohio that compares.

It’s been a long time since I said I would never get another hot dog here because they were always burnt and the buns were always stale. But today I was driving guy and thought maybe they changed their ways. NOPE … Burnt dogs and stale buns. What a shame terrible

Who ordered a hamburger? Coney Island is known for their hot dogs, with just about anything on them! This place is totally old school, CASHONLY! Typical order is 2 chili cheese dogs and a chili cheese french fry! The cheese is shredded cheddar and melts against the hot chili if you can wait a few minutes for it to melt. The chili is usually a little spicy and has no beans. They also serve hamburgers but from what I have heard they usually take 5 minutes or so before you get them! The french fries are think, shoestring type french fries. Cover them with chili and cheese and they are delicious. You can purchase chili to go and I suggest you order it hot and not cold. The hot chili always seems to be a little spicier than the cold. If you are in the New Castle area you should try the chili cheese dog from Coney Island… delicious!

Best hot dogs in town, good burger, great shakes, decent shoestring fries, great chili. As previously stated, service is bad but it can be expected from the young crowd that is attracted to work here.
