My family took parents to late lunch or early dinner(3pm) so 6 people, the girl got us a table with a smile when we ordered she informed us there was a party and alot of the items especially the chips were gone. We were disappointed but I said I’d have something else if they weren’t.we got our food and I was served chips the rest of my group was shocked. they would have ordered them also… then it all went downhill from there, our waitress went missing, we needed refills and dips and water or more beer… my husband was mad after a long wait and went to the bar so he could have a refill and told them this was the worst service we have ever gotten anywhere. They came over a filled a couple waters and left. A few minutes later, someone must have mentioned to our waitress. she showed up and explained she hadn’t eaten all day and was dizzy or something. We stood with our mouths wide open as she walked away. never asked if we wanted other things or desserts or anything!!! My husband is a big tipper and he was stunned on what to do. We left her a 10. And paid the large bill… this is the only restaurant in new castle, we drive from Canfield ohio just to have some good food and chat with my parents… I don’t think we will go back, we waisted that money and our experience was awful.

We arrived on a Friday night at 5:30−6pm with no reservations(oops, didn’t know they took reservations) and were told it would be a 25 – 30 min wait. We were pleasantly surprised when 10 – 15 mins later they offered us a booth in the bar area over waiting for the restaurant seating(a 4 and a 5 year old don’t care about the location but definitely care about waiting). The atmosphere(in the bar, don’t know about the restaurant) reminds me of a clean version of steampunk. Kind of industrial minus the grime of «industry». The bar was full and on the tight side but not in an uncomfortable way. Our server Brandon was quick to take our beverage order, food order and getting our food on the table. He was very pleasant, thorough and professional. My DH had the All American burger with fries, the kids had chicken tenders with fries and I had the Pittsburgh style sandwich with chips. All were very good. Next visit — reservations or back to a bar booth, explore more of their menu and not on a busy Friday night(although every night seems to be busy judging by the parking lot).

I was looking for a new place to dine with my girlfriend that wasn’t a chain restaurant, and The Crane Room was recommend to me. We went for dinner at 7pm on a Friday and found the place with an expected wait time of 25 minutes; after 10 minutes our pager went off and we were seated. The staff was buzzing around handling the dinner rush well. We ordered our drinks promptly and had our appetizer on our table within 15 minutes of being seated. She ordered a Bourbon Sirloin medium, with mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. Her portions were excellent and the steak was cooked perfect. They brought the wrong veggie out, and took about 5 minutes for them to correct it. When it came out it wasn’t steamed well… I got the Mix Grille, which was grilled shrimp, salmon, and mako shark with mashed potatoes and asparagus. When my food was brought out, my first thought was«that’s it?» The portions were dainty. Mind you I’m a 6’2″ 300 lb man, but this is a special of the night that our waitress should have served multiple times, a mention of the small portions would have been much appreciated. Even my 2 side dish portions were less than the Sirloin meal. Everything was cooked excellent, just didn’t leave full. Just a few minor«complaints» about our first experience there, but overall was quite satisfied. I look forward to giving The Crane Room another visit.

LOVE their wings– crane sauce is DABOMB! Tastes almost exactly like Quaker Steak & Lube’s Louisiana Lickers! Half price on Thursdays

The food is always very good here. The service is pretty good. The French onion soup is really good but the bowl is always very hot.

The fried brussels sprouts appetizer was ridiculously good, definitely use the dip that is included fantastic. I honestly can say that I’ve never had a better meatball sub and I’m from New Jersey. Crane chips were excellent, service was awesome and what an amazing beer selection.

Food is good. And selection of beer is good. Bartenders are good. Wait staff stinks. We went here with a party of ten and sat in the bar area so we could watch World Cup Soccer while we ate. We were the only ones there when we arrived. We were there for quite a while but all of us ordered food and we were continuously ordering drinks. It is a bar after all. With 3 minutes left in the soccer match, our waitress began complaining about us still being there to her manager right next to our table. A few of us had just ordered another drink about 3 minutes prior. And during our 2 hour stay, we had spent over $ 200. Apparently we were wasting their space. If I hadn’t already signed the credit card receipt, I would have taken back every dollar of the tip that I left her. One other note, the beer lines need cleaned far more regularly.

A little bit of everything on this menu. Value priced entrees that are very good. Salads, burgers, and a tasty feature menu. Try it out!

Good food, nice atmosphere. There is a more formal dining room then there is a bar area with tables and booths. They have everything from your typical bar food to nicer entrees. I had the crane burger which was delicious. They are known for their burgers. My mom had the wings and my sister had the steak sizzler, both of which they enjoyed. I would definitely go back

Just went here for Tuesday $ 5 Burger Night. The burgers were SOGOOD! I had the Crane Burger. It was loaded with toppings: Half pound of 100% ground chuck, pepper jack cheese, bacon, mushrooms, grilled onions, fried egg, lettuce, tomato, shaved red onion and pickle. The burger was perfectly cooked medium. The service was good even though our waiter was very busy. We could have used some refills but the burger was so good I didn’t even care. Highly Recommend.(still)
