Ordered the buffet. All the meat I tried (especially the general tso’s) on the buffet either lacked flavor or tasted kind of old. Dry, hard to chew.
Veggies were soggy and distasteful as well.
Wait staff rude, would not acknowledge me for drink refills.
Terrible experience. You’re better off going elsewhere.

Decent food, small selection. I did enjoy my meal and would come back. Dont expect the best and you wont be disappointed. Staff is friendly and food is never empty. Restaurant is clean and comfortable. And the price is good for a full belly.

I love this place. You are treated like family here. The food is delicious and plentiful. You get more than what you pay for. You can’t beat the service or price. I don’t know how they stay in business by offering such a low price.

I tried the Homestyle tofu. It’s not the best I’ve ever had but the best I’ve had in western PA. It’s addictive. Spring rolls ate pretty good, too. Prices are fair. Been there 3 times and it’s usually over half full. Buffet looks to be popular. Dinner buffet comes with seafood.

China Banquet is one of the better Chinese restaurants in New Castle, PA. The food is enjoyable, hot, and fresh. Although I wish they had a bigger selection on their buffet. Nice salad bar, sushi, two or three soups, crablegs on friday and saturday, plenty of chicken dishes, and ice cream. Servers are very friendly and fast to refill drinks and recover dishes. Affordable price.

This is one of the best Chinese restaurants in New Castle, unfortunately that’s not saying a lot. They have a decent buffet, and the staff is wonderful, but if you want really good Chinese food you’ll have to leave Lawrence County.

Three of us went to dinner here on Sat. night, about 8:00. Not many people, but lots of food on the buffet serving tables.
The food was hot, good, and plentiful. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. I could score them higher but for the sticky table, I checked the ones around us, they were also sticky, and some of the food containers needed attention to make them look clean.
Don’t expect to go back for awhile.
