Outstanding breakfast and lunch… with food cooked like Grandma’s… fresh and home made… been looking for this place for a long time… and finally found it!!! Great friendly service… with lots of regular patrons… it’s the real deal… with great food and a great menu!!!

Thought everyone there was super nice food was really down home cooking. Very good. .wish they were open on Sundays

This place is an old mom and pop restaurant. I noticed what look to be the owner sitting in a chair off in the corner wearing a pair of overalls. Only because his pictures were all over the walls. Definitely country folk here with many regulars. Make certain that you are not in a rush. It is a slow pace atmosphere. They take their time taking your order but the friendliness is there. Upon entering with my wife for breakfast, almost every table had dirty dishes on them. The staff was sitting around. The breakfast was very tasty and well worth the money we paid. After we completed our meal, an old man in overalls came out and started busing the tables. I didn’t see all throughout the meal except then. Working in the restaurant industry, I don’t know why the servers couldn’t bus the tables. They were all taking a breaks. Gave the since if a dirty restaurant. After I got in my car, my clothes reeked of cigarettes. I had to get a bath as soon as I got home. They just need to work on promptness. The smoking I can understand because it is inviting to all the repeat locals.

As much as I hate that smoking is allowed in this restaurant there is no denying the fact that the food is really good! The flavor is incredible. This is hands down the best breakfast food in the area. I will probably be back.

This place is «The Cheers» of east texas breakfast eateries!!! When you walk in everyone knows your name and if they don’t they make you feel welcome. The food is awesome and the service excellent !!! We’ll put this place on our «we will be back» list!!!

Good Homestyle Cooking!!! I had the BBQ Sausage Sandwich & it was delicious!!! Would come back again! The waitress was nice & funny! 5 Stars For Sure!

This is one of those awesome local dives that will surprise you with how good their food is!
From the outside, it’s a very unassuming place, but inside has a very warm, laid back atmosphere that brings the locals back for more!
For breakfast, they serve some of the most delicious home fries it has been a pleasure for this reviewer to eat. Perfectly crispy on the outside & soft and tender on the inside. The biscuits are wonderfully soft and moist (in the good way)! And, that’s just to name a couple of the breakfast items!
For lunch/​early dinner (they’re not open for dinner), I’m addicted to their club sandwiches. Ham or turkey on white, wheat, or rye bread. Bacon. Mayo. Two kinds of cheese! Heaven!!! And, they’re French fries are always crispy on the outside, and full of soft, pillowy potato goodness on the inside!!!
Overall, this is one of my favorite places to eat!!!
