This place is really small but some of their dishes are really good and some of them are really bad. Pros are open until late night & delivers until late night! If u order something that they makes good then u can never go wrong. ig. Chef’s special chicken n rice, biryani, kati rolls, samosa sandwich… Naming a few.

I tried this place again this past Friday night even after I vowed to myself that I wouldn’t come back after college, and boy did I regret my decision. I honestly don’t know why this place is still open, just shut it down! You don’t deserve to be on college ave! My cousins and I ordered a few rolls — one had a nice big piece of hair in it. How appetizing! My gut was telling me to go to Tacoria right next door, but my mind was telling me I needed something quick and easy to eat. Nirvanis was neither quick nor easy, and I think I waited 30 minutes for a single paneer tikka roll to come out. I can make the same mistake once but not twice. I’m never coming back.

I ordered teriyaki chicken roll and curry chicken. The driver delivered me something else. And they refused to reorder it for me or return my money. Wtf is this?!

This is my first time seeing this restaurant’s rating and I’m quite surprised how low of a rating this place has! This has been one of my few go to places to order food(especially since they’re conveniently open late at night) and I think it’s fairly delicious. Delicious enough that I’ve chosen this place over pizza numerous times(and I absolutely love pizza). I’ve tried the chicken and rice platter, lamb and rice platter, as well as the naan(every kind that they have to offer). The lamb has a ton of flavor packed. Sometimes a bit too savory for my liking, but that’s because the white sauce/hot sauce/flavor of the rice already offer so much as well. The chicken that is served on the platter isn’t dry, which is the reason why I completely avoid ordering chicken when I go out to eat. My favorite naan is definitely the garlic one. Don’t forget to ask for extra white sauce on the side so you can dip your naan in it!

Based off Unilocal,I wasn’t going to order because the 1.5 stars, but friends and recent Unilocal Reviews said they changed. Never ordered from here before, never going to order from here again. I ordered food at 10PM. Food got here at 11:00pm. Missing half the order, called about it and said they were going to send people out right away. Called again at 11:30pm because it still wasn’t here, said it’d take 10 minutes. At 12:15pm, someone came with the food. Everything was cold at arrival. The actual food was not good either; samosas were super salty. The Chicken and Rice tasted really strange. We ordered Chicken Tikka Masla, but it tasted like Chicken Makni. SUPER disappointing.

Tried this when it was Kati, and tried it again after it was a new name not knowing that they had to change there name due to a lawsuit(so I’ve heard), and I didn’t realize that it was the same owner/management. Bad move on both counts. This food is a poorly executed emulation of well known NYC food spots. The meat and sauce miss the mark. The service is poor. The only reason that I can think that this place has any business is due to high and drunk school kids who do not know any better.

This place does not even deserve 1 star. Saw a red/orange looking cockroach on the counter and immediately lost my appetite. Everyone at Kati legit shrieked at what they saw. The cashier tried to play it off saying it was nothing, and I even told the manager in private about it and he just shrugged his shoulders. Are you serious? It’s a huge deal… I would like to think your kitchen area should at least be clean because there’s where the food is being prepped at. I regret ordering from Kati because I couldn’t eat my food without thinking how unsanitary the place probably is.

When you need an authentic Indian inspired meal definitely come here. I love that they have expanded their menu! You can’t go wrong with the mixed platter!

Awesome food, all fresh and spice right. Friendly environment. The Naan bread is baked fresh per order If you love Indian food try everything they have on the menu especially the Rolls.

I had a really bad experience here months ago when it was Kati rolls under the same current owner and I chose to give them a second chance under there new name. What a mistake that was. I work local to the area and I stopped in for a platter. 18 minutes later I walk up and ask about my platter. No one seems to know and no one talks to me. They all speak in their native tongue and then ask me what I ordered. Very annoying. The staff didn’t seem to care and add another 10 minutes and then I finally get it. And the food is average at best. This will be the last time I ever go back. Oh and another thing, why is the food prep area covered with that black cloth? In today’s modern age it is very cool to see a cool preparing your food. I just wish I asked for my money back.

WOWWHAT A DISASTER. How this place is open is a mystery to me. 3 hours. THREEHOURS for delivery. I ordered my food when I was still on the freaking trading on my way home from work and it didn’t get to my apartment until 9PM. I was so hangry I called the place three times and they fed me a bunch of lies. I sat and thought this better be the best delivery Korma I’ve ever tasted and then The food was drenched in oil, ice cold, and tasted like garbage. NEVERAGAIN.

Visited this place two days ago, it is a tiny space with no room to even stand if you’re a group of five. It looks like a run-down place with the way the cash register is separated from the kitchen area with a worn-out curtain. The little table like thing on the side was not clean and the people working there were incredibly rude. The food was decent though(not as good as kati roll in NYC, but still) so I called for a delivery today and it arrived with a missing item. Called them regarding it and the woman who answered handed it to the owner who didn’t seem interested at all and hung up on me! I called a few times after that and they didn’t answer at all. The spoons and forks that came along with the food were dirty too. I’m done with this place forever.

Food’s pretty decent as far as platters go. However their business practices are straight up despicable if not outright criminal. I placed an order that ended up not being completed, and hilariously upon calling them to get my order settled I was met immediately by their voice mail. Called Scarletmenus twice and apparently they were unable to reach them as well and I was only able to resolve things by requesting a refund. The bowels of hell are too friendly for these owners.

Ordered delivery from here at 5p through Scarlet Menu, ended up calling the place myself at 7 asking where my order was, the girl who answered the phone laughed, and said«we just got your order and it’ll be ready in 45 minutes.» After asking why they only got my order 2 hours after it was placed, she gave me no real answer and a weak«sorry». Bottom line is it took me 3 hours to get my order, and after all that was said and done, they forgot one of my Kati rolls that I paid for. Never will order from here ag

Kati Roll changed their name, but not their same crappy service. They forgot an item in my delivery. So my wife called them to have it credited back. The girl told her she’d take care of it. My wife was not convinced that she’d take care of it, so I checked my cc and saw there was no credit. Called Nirvanis back, spoke with the manager, and he said a refund could not be done on their part, but by Scarlet Menus. The girl gave false information, which we would not have known if I didn’t call back to confirm. Really won’t order from Kati Roll OR Nirvanis again. Stop changing your name, change your service. Train your staff to be courteous and truthful please.

The reviews are primarily low because their owner who I think is now in jail is scum of the earth. But don’t let him scare you away, the food here isn’t all that bad and it does a good job of emulating the city counterpart that it is modeled after(although it is not affiliated with). I personally enjoyed this place during college and late night options for vegetarians are limited, this place has an expansive vegetarian menu. Enjoy it, make sure you have toilet paper in the morning but I would recommend the city if the option is present.

I’m surprised about the low rating of this place. I felt like the quality and flavor rivaled the Kati rolls in NYC. I loved the intense flavor of the ground chicken tikka roll. The chicken with egg was also good and super filling. These are definitely bigger than the ones in NYC and the roll might actually be chewier, which I loved. Make sure to ask for their white sauce and hot sauce. I’m hooked and definitely plan to go back.

I do not understand how this shop is still open… I could just write how sad this place is like some of the people here wrote OR I could just write one sentence that could sum the restaurant up… My platter I ordered there had«several dead bugs,» in my platter. Lesson was learned. DONOTPASSGOANDCOLLECT $ 200, unless you want a horrid awakening when you are on the porcelain throne.

Hmm maybe I should have read the reviews before going here. It’s not just service that is eh but it’s also the food. It was just me and this other guy waiting for orders yet it took about 15 minutes to get a platter. That’s way too long. Unless they make the rice fresh for each order, that is unreasonably long. Also the white sauce is NOT what you expect it to be at all! Warning warning it tastes exactly like ranch. Haha what an effort they put into that! The chicken and rice was super dry and had no flavor at all. I didn’t finish it because it was not satisfying at all. The search for a god nearby halal place continues !
