I’m sad it’s closed! I like how you serve yourself, as if you’re in a Chipotle, but they have alcohol. It’s very odd, but I like that because sometimes, you just want to pick up your own food and be left alone. I usually make my own burger.

I was here 1 month ago for lunch and i tried the apple chicken hot dog with sauerkraut or New York style as they called it. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed. A plus is you can have a drink with your meal. The strawberry lemonade was just right and refreshing. Parking is horrendous so be prepared to not pull over. This is definitely a spot for walker in the area and not traveling visitors.

My best burger spot in New Brunswick. My daughter has been at Robert Wood for a week. I had a burger 1 time and I’m hooked. Went the next two days they are closed. When are they opening back? I need that burger in my life NOW!!!

So after trying all the better burger chains like five guys, smash burger, and finally shake shack in Bridgewater… this place is hands down the best burger joint by far! I noticed they recently changed their menu but they still have the ½ and ½ which is crazy good. The parmesan fries are so good too and I like the way you can have them cooked well done. This place also doesn’t break the bank and the foods great. My one issue is that sometimes on hot days, the front door is open and the AC is turned off. I asked the manager working and he said the AC is broke but it seems to be broke quite often which makes me question if he’s telling the truth or trying to save some coin on overhead. If it’s the latter, that’s not good as I would suspect you’re cutting corners in other places too.

We were looking for a place to eat and saw the review of Burgerfi on Unilocal and decided to give it a try. The burger is quite good but I don’t think it’s anything better than Smashburger, or Shake Shack, etc. Maybe the market is just getting too saturated with create your own burger places. Anyway, I’d go again, but I don’t think it was anything memorable. We had onion rings and they were huge. Can’t really go wrong with an onion ring. I do wish we tried the fries though. The table next to us had them, and they looked amazing with all the seasoning on it. Hopefully we can get back there again and give it a try.

My boyfriend and I stopped in for dinner expecting it to be filling, but we were wrong. The burger itself tasted good in that the meat was flavorful, but I honestly wasn’t expecting the burger to be that tiny! It’s the size of a little slider. He got the Burgerfi burger and I built my own burger. We probably both finished the entire thing in about 5 bites. For what we paid, I was expecting more. When we walked in, nobody was there besides one table and the girl behind the counter looked like she wanted to be anywhere but there. Having never been there before, we told her that we just needed a minute to look at the menu before ordering and she rolled her eyes. I don’t think I’ll be returning. It was a cute little place, but the food is overpriced for what you get and the staff is less than stellar.

The burger that I ordered was okay. The burger did taste fresh and clean. If you are looking for a burger packed with flavor I would recommend Smashburger. I ordered the parmesan fries, and I(along with my group of friends) did not like them all that well. Overall I’d rather go to the chipotle across the street.

This is a pretty good burger joint that opened up last year in the area. It reminds me of Shake shack but I have to say, I like Burger Fi better. The burgers are innovative and delicious. It was juicy and savory! All the burgers have a taste of their own and it’s amazing! Also the fries are to die for! Especially Urban Fries! Beware they give a lot of fries! There is a good variety of dessert as well! They have shakes, frozen custard, and a bunch of yummyness. They have this really cool soda machine that dispenses many different kinds of soda! It’s so cool! It’s like a new adventure every time I get soda! All in all, it’s great coming here for yummy food even though it is a bit pricy. :)

All I wanted was a good veggie burger. Not one made of mushy beans(rhymes with CrashFurger), not one that is just toppings(cinco hombres), but a good veggie burger. The one at BurgerFi tastes like a real beef burger. It even had a crunch when I bit into it. Like I can’t. Some of these meat free folks will say things that taste like meat are«disgusting» or «revolting.» Well that ain’t me. I love the taste and texture of meat and applaud veggie options that can replicate it. Vegheads and carnies alike will love this burger. BurgerFi also gets mucho points for cooking my fried egg hard and without yolk just like I asked. Courteous, efficient service in a super clean spot with good beer on tap. More please!

Been here 5 million times since the last review and Veggie fi burger is still the best I ever had. For a healthy option try it wrapped in lettuce! It’s still amazing ! ask for extra burger fi sauce.

BurgerFi has the BEST burgers. Whether meat or veggie, it’s burgers are juicy, rich and just overall pure deliciousness. I’m vegetarian, and have been to a ton of burger joints trying to find a decent veggie burger, but nothing beats BurgerFi’s quinoa burger. Even my friends who love meat said the quinoa burger was delicious. It’s finely ground and has the consistency of a veggie burger(rather than the overly-chewiness if meat burgers). The taste is really flavorful – hard to describe… it doesn’t taste like meat(which I like), but is equally savory. The best part is it doesn’t leave you feeling bloated afterward, like meat or veggie bean burgers tend to. My non-vegetarian friend tried a normal meat burger here and loaded it with stuff. He too said this place has the best burger he’s ever eaten – and he’s had quite a variety of burgers from different places. He said the meat was juicy and delicious, while the sauces added the perfect flavor and the toppings were super fresh and crisp. The actual restaurant is a little small, but has plenty of seats. The staff is very friendly, and will answer any questions you have. They also serve different beers and have a selection of fries you might want to try. I personally am not a fan of their fries – they’re a little overfried and not potato-y enough for my taste. We’ve each had burgers from specialty joints like Shake Shack, Smashburger and Five Guys, as well as more general chain restaurants and local favorites. Despite the name attached to all of these other places, for some reason we love BurgerFi the best. If you haven’t tried it yet, definitely do! You won’t regret it!

Woohoo more burger joints! LOVE that this opened up in my old college stomping grounds and quite jealous that this wasn’t around during my days as a RU student! BurgerFi reminds me of Shake Shack. The restaurants have similar looks and feels to them. Also just as much I love Shake Shacks food, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how much I also enjoyed BurgerFi’s. They have a bunch of seating, both for groups of 4 or more. I had the BurgerFi Cheeseburger and my bf and I split a small order of their Fries(Parmesan with Galic Aioli). A small order is def enough to share. I also got a small Soda and they have one of those machines that offer many flavors. BurgerFi will safisfy any burger craving you might have!

I came here for different experience and a taste for burger, which is exactly what I got, a great new experience and a great burger. The menu was a little hard to follow, but as soon as I grab the paper menu I was able to read and understand exactly what I was able to do or not able to do and they don’t have many limits. I was able to create a great tasting burger for under five dollars using their build your own burger menu option, able to customize my fries extra crispy and able to get a drink that I was able to mix and customize myself in the Coca-Cola machine. Then they have dessert options I was able to get a great shake. A very friendly staff that was able to help me out and a great atmosphere that made me feel very comfortable while I studied for my homework. They even serve alcoholic beverages. This was a great experience, and I will definitely be back. The only downside was New Brunswick parking.

I was never a fan of burgers until recently. From what I can recall, the last time I had a burger was about 4 years ago at five guys. During the past year, I noticed that in-and-out burger is a thing on instagram, and my friends posted pictures of this new burger chain on instagram… and the fries looked delicious! I came here about 6 months ago with my friend who’s also not that into burgers, but we wanted to try something new and check this place out. She got the breakfast burger and I had the cheeseburger and regular fries. We both had an amazing time! The meat was VERYJUICY and SAVORY! Her breakfast burger was very fun like an ADVENTURE! It was crunchy and soft from the bacon and hash brown. Also, it was SALTY and SWEET from the meats and syrup! Very DELICIOUS! The fries were very fresh, hot, and crunchy! Plus, they give you A LOT of fries! Besides burgers, they also have a great variety of hot dogs, milkshakes, sodas, and BEER! It’s a pretty relaxing and fun place to eat and chill! There’s quite a lot of seating but it can get packed at times. The place is clean and has nice lighting! The staff are pretty friendly, but they can be kind of slow with the cooking.

She got the double burgerfi burger, I got the ½ + ½(one quinoa patty, one beef patty), with the toppings of our choice. And an order of Cry & Fries to share, and some beers. Good. We were happy. Nothing mind-blowing, but still a very tasty burger. I recommend the veggie quinoa burger they make here if you’re not feelin’ beef – it had a great texture, with crunchy edges, and good flavor. The ingredients were fresh and of quality. The wait wasn’t too long, either. The place has more seating than it appears at first, which is a plus. A good, casual place to go on Friday night.

In fairness I had a burger and fries and that’s it but simpley put It’s no Shack Shake… and it does try to be. Burgers check, fries check, custard check. Where Fi tries to be different is with Onion Rings(I didn’t try) and variety of burgers/ingredients. Over all burger flavor was okay… nothing great… I’ve had better… specifically at Shake Shack. Fries??? Well they were freakin’ awesome!!! I only wish the burger was as good… I will return though to try the O-rings and custard.

I love going back to my alma mater to see what has changed since I graduated and checking out the new businesses that have popped up. When I heard a new burger joint had opened up, I was excited because I love burgers! But unfortunately, I was not impressed. I came here for the first time on a Wednesday night a few months ago and it was super packed. It took FOREVER to get my food(seriously, I can’t remember the last time I went somewhere and had to wait so long for my food. and it’s not even table service here! You get a pager after ordering, wait for your food to be ready and then you pick it up in the front). Also, there is not enough seating! There was absolutely no where to sit and I had to wait until some people left and even then, I had to sit at a table with some strangers. Most of the people that were seated didn’t even have their food yet! I’m sure seating wouldn’t be as much of a problem if people were actually able to eat their food in a timely matter. Perhaps they were understaffed at the time? Since it took so long to get my food, I was really hoping that my burger would be good. But it was nothing special. I definitely can get a better burger at Five Guys/25 Burgers for cheaper. I was under the impression that BurgerFi was going to more of a gourmet burger due to the price and they also serve beer here(like Zinburger). But I was wrong. There was also nothing special about their fries either. Only come here if you want to pay a lot for mediocre food.

Another beer place, but this one has burgers! Went with the ½ + ½ Burger(Off the«Secret Menu») cause I felt 700 calories for my burger should be enough for the day. Got to say, I did enjoy the burger taste but the presentation was a bit off. The burgers seem to be put together in a manner so you can see everything that’s on one… but doing it that way really just leaves the burger leaning over and falling off itself. Makes for a sloppy burger right out of the box. Comparably, it’s like a sloppier, Elevation Burger mixed with a Five Guys. But it’s their beer that seems to be the big draw here. First menu you see is the beer and wine list… then appetizers… then burgers. Clearly offering the beer is what separates it from the other burger places, but a burger isn’t necessarily a sit down and have a few drinks kind of place. It’s a one beer, one burger, move on with your evening type. Or at least that’s how I would see it. If I want beer all night, there’s 40 other bars in the area(one that’s opening a better burger joint next to it a block over). For a quick burger though, this is the place and I think they should take more pride in their burgers over the beer because you can’t get a quick, quality burger anywhere else in New Brunswick! Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy a beer with my burger and wish other joints had that option, but for this place in this town, make the burgers you’re meant to make and the beer will be the bonus, not the major factor. Also, gonna run you $ 7 — $ 12 per burger and the beer isn’t anything cheaper either.

If I could pick my favorite food, it would have to be a burger, and it’s not just because I’m an American, because damnit’ I am! It’s because when burgers are done right, they pack so much flavor and are so satisfying whether you are hungry, hungover, or whatever the case may be. With that being said, I’ve made it my goal to weed through as many burger chains as possible to point out who’s doing burgers right and who you should pass on by. BurgerFi may not be the best burger in town but they do offer up a tasty burger. I’d say as far as burger quality goes, BurgerFi is right up there with Five Guys. Everything is made to order, one burger is actually two patties, and there is no table service. One thing that BurgerFi does do is serve beer, and might I add good beer at that. I saw a couple of customers drinking FU Sandy by Flying Fish, so that was nice. I ordered a brisket burger which came to a couple more bucks than a standard burger. Upon arrival I received my burger, which was branded with BurgerFi’s name on it. I guess so if the buns run away, we will know where to return them to. It was messy. It was decently sized. It was tasty. It was not worth the two extra dollars as I did not taste any real significant different between the brisket meat and regular meat. The ‘fries and crys’ were also a nice addition to the meal. As a previous review noted, be sure to ask for at least one extra tray if you are dining with multiple people. So in the end I wouldn’t go out of my way to come back but I would come back to BurgerFi. I like it more than Smashburger and about the same as Five Guys; however, Zin Burger and Burger 21 are still at the top of my list as far as the best restaurant burger chains go. Shake Shack you’re next on the list.

Wow, this is a tough one to review. I’m pretty sure I recently gave Five Guys a 5-star review because goddammit when I am hungover I can’t think of anything that brings me back to life faster than a Five Guys bacon cheeseburger. It’s so good. And in terms of that fast casual burger joint experience, I really can’t think of anyone who does it better in terms of pure taste. Bobby Flay’s Burger Palace? Phhhft. Overrated. Smashburger? Bah. What a dumb gimmick. Three stars at best. Red Robin? Bleghhh. Don’t get me started. White Rose System? Awful at any time other than 2am blowing a .20 or more. White Castle? Sure, if I want to sleep on the toilet all night afterward. 25 Burgers? A little better, but I have yet to go gaga over one of their burgers. Shake Shack. No doubt the best of the bunch. Too bad the line is always a year long. But wait, what’s this? BurgerFi? I almost want to refuse to try it because it has such a stupid-sounding name. And this whole branding of the bun feels like another gimmick to hide the fact that the food probably sucks. Well, I was dead wrong. BurgerFi is totally legit and may very well unseat Five Guys as my go-to burger joint with the family. In terms of the burger itself(which should probably be the only measure of the review) it is just a smidge less amazing than Five Guys. But it is damn good. Like Five Guys, you can actually taste how fresh the meat is, and they do a great job of getting all that ooey-gooey cheese to make its way into every single bite. What they seem to have done with BurgerFi is marry all of the key elements of all of its competitors into one experience. Like the«crunch» burger at Bobby Flay’s? Well, guess what? You can get your burger topped with oil & vinegar chips here too. Want a runny fried egg slipped atop your burger? No problem. Like that giant pile of fries you get at Five Guys? Well then, check out all the different kinds of fries you can get at BurgerFi — and the pile is just as huge. Add to that a great selection of kobe beef hot dogs, desserts, etc. — this place simply rocks. But for me, there are two key differentiators here. One is the fact that I can enjoy a freshly poured draft beer with my burger. And the second is that they have great options for vegetarians. My wife went bonkers for her quinoa-based veggie burger, complete with a fried egg and whatever else she piled on top of it. My daughter loved her single patty bacon burger. And my son, well, he ate ice cream. While I will stop short of saying BurgerFi’s burger deserves the same 5-star rating I give to Five Guys, I will definitely give them a solid 4.5. For those of you who complain that BurgerFi costs too much, well, I hate to tell you, but quality ingredients cost money. Suck it up and spend a little more, or go eat the crap they peddle over at Tumulty’s or the grease trucks for less. From here on out I’ll choose BurgerFi for family trips, and Five Guys when me and the boys need to go off and lick our wounds and find hangover recovery.
