My first appointment was booked about 2 weeks out from when I called. I arrived a few minutes late to my appointment on a Friday morning. The office is situated in a cute neighborhood, in an old house. The waiting room is lined with mismatched chairs. When I checked in at the window, I noticed they had no computers in their work stations. All paper-charts. This was my first concern. I noticed that there were about 7 other patients waiting for their appointments. This made me think that I was behind all of them which made me worry. About 45 minutes later, I asked if I was the next to go in. One of the receptionists told me to come back and she put me in a room that had an air conditioner in the window, which was off. I waited for another 10 – 15 minutes in the warm room. I then noticed I could hear the conversation the doctor was having the next room over; HIPAA policy– uh oh. I looked around the room and spotted what I thought was fly legs on the window sill. When I looked at it closer I noticed that it was not bug legs, instead it was the black stitches with a tiny bit of skin at the center of the knot. I got up and went past the check out window and told them I had to leave. It was now an hour past my appointment time. I didn’t want to establish with a doctor like this since it would mean I’d have to deal with this each time I had an appointment.

Be ready to wait 30 – 45 mins before you see him. Once you talk to him it will be very quick because you have«beautiful skin and it will be ok» Do not leave your prescription in the office. They offer that and I said yes. My next appt. I end up with some else’s prescription because the nurse couldn’t find mine. Before I left it I ask the nurse if someone else will use my prescription and she said«never»

I heard patients wait a long time & I needed to arrive early. I arrived 90 min early for my Monday am appointment. I even scheduled a staff conference call to effectively use the time. As I began my 8:30am call his staff member told me that the Dr was ready for me. I declined requesting my original time since I had my staff of 10 on a conference call. Once done I went inside 15 min early for my scheduled time. The Dr. Weiss is very detailed and answered all my questions, he gave me great diagnosis & direction to resolve my concerns

Had a great experience with Dr. Weiss the other day. I’ve been having some issues with my skin and wanted to get them fixed pronto. He came recommended by my best girlfriend, which was endorsement enough for me. After a long wait in a very crowded waiting room(this place was busy and bustling), I was taken in. Now, I won’t complain about the wait– you’re going to wait no matter where you go. The Dr. was witty, and even complimented me, by saying«You’re beautiful– don’t worry about it, this too shall pass.» I was very flattered, and left feeling like I was in good hands. If you’re looking to be coddled, he’s probably not your guy, but if you’re looking for someone who can explain things clearly, and make informed decisions, I’d suggest Dr. Weiss. Parking was a little crazy. There is a small lot behind the office(which is actually a house in New Britain over near the library), which I didn’t notice, so I ended up parking around the corner on a side street. Wouldn’t have minded the walk, except I had on super high heels that day, but I’ll just remember flats for the future.
