Whataburger

I love Whataburger and have to eat at one every couple of weeks. This was a new location that opened up in the HEB shopping center a few years ago. The store being new may be what has impacted my rating.
This is just like all the other Whataburger’s, so you know what to expect. However, the help here, seems to be a little slow and unsure of themselves.
The food here is not up to the standards of most Whataburger’s. I would like to think it’s because of the «newness», but it’s not really new anymore.
Other restaurants are in the shopping center. Unless this Whataburger improves their food quality, I may spend my money elsewhere.

Unfortunately, this is one of the few fast food restaurants within a few miles of home that’s open late/​24 hrs. They screw up our drive-​thru orders about 90−95% of the time, even after repeating orders back to us or after being asked if specific items are in the bag (s). After we get home, invariably, they’ve either left out dressings for salads, forgot the gravy for chicken bites, cheese is missing from cheeseburgers, they put things on burgers we asked to be left off or leave off things we ask to be put on the burgers. There’s only two of us ordering, so it’s not that complicated. Last night we ordered two small containers of gravy for chicken bites and fries but they only put one small container in the box and it was LESS than half full. Called the manager who said they didn’t charge us for the extra gravy we didn’t get then told me they gave me 4 oz with the order. There was less than 2 oz. The point was that I wouldn’t have ordered the chicken and fries without enough gravy, but they don’t understand that! They obviously either don’t train their staff and/​or they just don’t care. Since most people could understand you want cheese on a cheeseburger, they must just not care. It’s like playing a guessing game what you’ll end up with when you order food here. But you can be sure it’s less than you paid for!

Stopped on a Friday evening driving through town. Extremely friendly staff. The manager took our order all the while having a delightful conversation. He even came to our table while we were dining and checked on us. Another manager did the same. The restaurant was clean and bright. The condiment corner was stocked full and the drink station was clean. Wish we had this nice of staff at home. Keep it up Whataburger! You rock!!!

This place has really gone downhill since first opening. Drive– thru service is super slooooow. Check your order before leaving. Many times you don’t get what you ordered. Such a shame — I love Whataburger. Perhaps it’s a new management issue?!

We ordered an A1 thick N hardy meal. A meal. With also a breakfast burrito. When we received our order all we had was a very very cold burger and very cold small order of frys.

This location is SO SLOW. Just go to chick fil a or McDonald’s, this place isn’t worth the long wait for its «fast» food.

I hate this location.

The place was a bit dirty. Very few of the tables had been wiped down and had bits and pieces of food on them. The floor felt very greasy walking on it, like it had been mopped with a greasy mop when it was cleaned.
Service was good from the employees however and the food was brought out quickly. Fries were good. Salty probably for some tastes but that is my personal preference.

Love coming to this location for quality food. My order is always perfect and the fries are steaming hot. The staff deserves a pat on the back for all the good work they’re doing!
