Pound for pound the best burger in town, everything was fresh, very nice people behind the bar, I will be coming back

Been to many sports bars but this place is trash! The hippie owner is such a joke I’m not sure what to say. The food sucks, the place smells like an ashtray and bottomline he doesn’t know how to run a business. Whatever you do, don’t go to this place! A better choice would be Callahan’s…badass pizza and an awesome menu all around!

LOVE this bar. Hands down one of my favorites. The environment is great, the staff has always been attentive, the foods fantastic as it goes for bar food, and it’s smoker friendly! Everything within reason for a great sports bar experience and a Sunday Funday!

Scores looks so divey from the outside you would probably wouldn’t give it a 2^nd look. But go on in you find a spacious area, tons of tables, a multitude of TVs playing games, 2 huge bars –with a small but tasty menu and, really sweet waitresses. Live bands on the weekend. The new Braunfels Blues society will occasionally have their quarterly blues jam where anyone can sign up (free) to play. Love the inexpensive drinks here. They are Not watered down like other bars you may find on San Antonio Street. The first time I asked for bourbon and coke I got the best tasting drink, and it was $ 3! Place is really hopping during the St. Paddys day pub crawl. Happy hour drink specials– noon to 7pm with different specials. Kid friendly, not pet friendly. They have 5 slot machines (play for prizes). A little bit of everything at Scores, check it out!

A great local bar, lots of room, super friendly bartenders, good music and you’re never alone! Bar food is very good as well.

The food is really good and the staff is really nice. Will be back! You can smoke in here so if you are sensitive to that beware.

I would actually be at a 2.5 star and not just to be a poor sport but the bar is fine, food looks okay, drinks normal, but when you have «sports bar» in your name and appear on maps under this search, and after being asked politely to put on the audio for a huge NCAA tournament game and you won’t, you just aren’t a real sports bar. Sorry fellas. A sports bar is where at the very least during huge games, game audio is played for the fans and to the unfortunate disappointment of non sports fans. Maybe 2 stars now that I keep thinking.

Love score’s. Great food, friendly atmosphere. We smoke, and enjoy being able to smoke indoors. Non smokers, can go outside on the patio. See you tomorrow.

It’s not a bad place, I just hate smoking venues.
The place is big, has plenty of screens, atmosphere was good and service was friendly — but the smoke was killing me.

This place has a good feel. Waitress that are nice to look at. Lots of good drinks. Amazing pulled pork nachos.

From the outside it doesn’t look like much, but inside is spacious and fun. We came here to eat because it is across from the piano bar we wanted to go to. We all had burgers and fries.
The good: prices were reasonable. Hamburgers/​cheeseburgers were tasty. The bun was grilled and home made, a plus. Good sized and fries were perfect.
The bad: not much bad jus that the buns were a tad sweet for my taste. Everyone else seemed to like them.
The service: the buxom blonde who served us was friendly and came to check on us frequently. Food cane out in about 10 minutes and we did not wait for the check.
Overall a great place and a perfect place to eat before you wander the bars/​streets of New Braunfels, TX. Definitely will make this a regular stop before hitting the town and may just stay here, I hear their live music us outstanding.

I have only been here once. I loved the sports bar feel so I like going to places like this. I definitely will be back.

Nice little neighborhood bar with good food.
I don’t go here much because of the smoke (even when no one is smoking, it still smells like tobacco) and that’s the only thing keeping this from being a great little bar. But they have a decent beer selection, friendly bartenders and great lunch specials. I usually get the lunch to go — it’s hard to beat a (non-​alcoholic) drink, burger or sandwich, and fries for $ 7.50 in downtown New Braunfels.

So I have to go here to watch Saints football games when the dumb Cowboys are playing in primetime. My waitress was friendly, the beer selection was divine, and there were plenty of games on the screens. My first time here I was surrounded by other Saints fans, so I felt a little at home. I think it will get 5 stars when I make some football buddies. Oh! Fish and chips, pretty good pub food.

In town after tubing the river and hungry. Asked the waitress what’s good. I dunno I don’t eat here. Impressive. Never made eye contact, literally threw the plates on the table while rushing by. No silverware, napkins, mustard, ketchup. Had to go to the bar for that. A woman sitting at the bar (off duty employee?) brought it to us. How I was wishing she was waiting on us. Meantime, our waitress is busy flipping her hair back and full on flirting with a table of guys (big table of guys, flirt get a bigger tip– it’s all about ME!) next to us (do you need a Harley T-​shirt to get noticed here?) oblivious to are existence. The one saving grace was the burger was slam dunk delicious. Perfectly cooked, tasty soft bun. How can this be? In the end she brought the check (another speed drop) and I left thinking, what a shame that they let their lousy help torpedo their good food.

This place is a go to spot, always fun, always a great crowd.
What to expect…
1. great bar food (perfect hot wings with really great bleu cheese!)
2. Happy hours really good… Be care full once the bell tolls 7:01 your goose and or wallet is cooked.
3.Waitress are all freaking awesome (Kiley’s one my favorites) show your appreciation & buy’em a drink
4. they only have quarters pool table in too small a space.

Big open area. Lots of tables and chairs plus everything else that has been stated before/​below.
The fish and chicken finger baskets are huge. They even serve waffle fries.
Good place to light up a cigar.

Been there several times… it’s a nice big clean… good place.
Lots of big Screens… Lot’s of big Tables.
More of a place for Locals… but I can’t imagine a Tourist being disappointed.
Give her a try.

I had a great time here last night. The crowd is a bit rough, the bouncers are dorks in typical fashion, but the drinks are cheap.
GIANT cold beers, quick service, live music. Can’t complain.

Awesome time EVERYTIME!
drinks a tad on the higher priced end. but the live music and gaming and huge tables, makes it a perfect place to kick it with your buds. There is a really cool bartender there but I don’t know his name. He seems like probably worked in a bigger city (prolly SA) because he’s cool and knows how to serve ‘em up!
