Comal River Cottages

After several years of driving to Wurstfest from Austin and then driving back, we got smart this year and booked a cottage for the weekend. Three of our friends joined us for a magical weekend. The price was right and the cottage was only three blocks away from Wurstfest. But when we punched in our keyless entry code and walked in, we positively giggled.
From the great floorplan to the awesome river-​front view and wraparound porch, we had everything we needed. I’ve stayed in similar vacation rentals in other small towns, so I was pleasantly surprised when this kitchen was so well stocked with dining ware and cooking tools. The linens were indeed very comfy and the flatscreen TVs and U-​verse cable/​WiFi kept us roudy watching football on Saturday. We had a relaxing and entertaining weekend and we can’t wait to come back!
