Service was confusing, asked about the type of oil the company uses to cook with
Front asked the cook and she had no idea
Nor did she care, then the front lady looked to find the manger to get the answer we were needing seeing as how I am allergic to peanut oil, she could not find the manger, so she went and read the box of oil her self, no peanut oil used at this time, we ordered and food was awful, didn’t even finish half of my lunch, needless to say we won’t be coming back on or way threw town in the future,

I really don’t like doing fast food places, but this is more of a warning for those who are traveling and are on a tight schedule. They are not equipped and ready to Handel big rushes my table of 4 waited 40 minutes for our food, we were not alone either.

This has to be the dirtiest DQ on the planet. Bathrooms smelled like urine (ladies room) burgers were so overcooked they were crispy bits of charcoal beef. The play yard was closed because of safety concerns. Even the drink machines were not working properly. Go anywhere else…

Got our order and everything was burnt and super greasy! My husband tipped his jalitos container over and grease poured out! That is gross!!! Then my son was eating a chicken strip and mentioned that it tasted mushy so I tore open another one and it was completely raw! They have been awful for a long time! We will definitely not be going back!

They took my money for the combo which included a drink.
Then allowed me to walk over to the soda machine and taste nothing but CO2. I mentioned to the cashier drinks are out she says we already know. We are out of drinks for the night. but you just sold me… you know what ain’t nobody got time for that!!!

We THOUGHT this was a good idea. Waited forever for our Blizzards. Not sure what the desk us with DQ’s. They are always super busy but it’s always a mess of disorganization & don’t give a care staff. This location isn’t any different.

Ate here on way back from my honeymoon. The taco shells were stale, tables were dirty, line of people asking for their money back because ice cream was taking so long. Pretty bad experience for a DQ right on the interstate.

As far as fast food joints go this one deserves 4 stars. Unfortunately I know too much about this DQ as we were stranded here for 3 ½ hours a couple Fridays ago. We were on our way from Ft. Worth to Lake Ouachita, AR when our boat trailer axle broke. We were right by this DQ as luck would have it and our group of 8 came in and ate while the men figured out what to do. Everyone enjoyed their burgers and chicken strips and the men went off to O’Reillys then on to a local Auto Repair while us ladies and kids stayed behind and waited at DQ.
The staff here is very friendly and it is obvious this is THE place the locals flock to at lunch. The place was PACKED from about 12 – 1:30 or so. Then it tapered off and the staff did a great job of cleaning and staying up on clearing tables, etc. (Like I said, I know TOO much about this DQ) The restrooms were clean, especially for being used so much. Staff interacted well with the patrons and seemed to «know» quite a few of the regulars.
We were lucky to be stranded here. The kids played outside in the play yard and when they got restless we would buy them some more ice cream. :)
Despite us being there so long, no one looked at us funny or questioned us. I guess us buying so much ice cream helped!
Luckily our men were able to fix the boat trailer thanks to the good folks of New Boston and we were on our way. I will always remember this DQ and we will make this a regular stop on our frequent visits to Arkansas.

We were on our way to Arkansas from Texas and needed something to eat. The Dairy Queen was an «easy off and on» so we decided to stop. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised.
Our first indication that we were going to have a good experience was the parking lot was packed! All of «locals» in New Boston were there. The restaurant’s staff was eager to please and very helpful. Our food was delivered to our table very quickly and was correct as ordered.
This Dairy Queen looks like it is fairly new and was totally clean and well-​maintained. Next time we headed to Arkansas, we’ll definitely stop! We had a wonderful experience.

Hey it’s a DQ!!! Road trips MUST have a DQ People are super friendly management is typical small Texas caring and genuine.

This DQ is right off of interstate 30 exit 201. Big Jock and I are not fast food fans, but thought we’d give this a try — so glad we did! Were told they’ve just been opened for 1 ½ months replacing the 60 yr old location further east. Big Jock had the shrimp with fries, I ordered crispy chicken salad. Was surprised to get 3 Hidden Valley Ranch dressing in small containers with my salad (i asked for xtra). Food was decent, sweet tea with lemon juice was refreshing in the Northeast Texas heat. What impressed us was how clean this location is. While the manager was outside picking up trash in the parking lot, staff was wiping down tables, chairs (even the legs of the chairs!) seating booths. and sweeping the floor. Earlier in the day we ate at Bodacious BBQ in Henderson, TX and I had to ask that cock roaches be removed in the restroom before going potty. Wish all restaurants would take note and when wait staff is not busy with customers, give them a cloth with soap and water and start wiping down table & chairs.

This Dairy Queen has moved up town, I ordered a Chicken Sandwhich through the drive-​thru and it was quick to get it out. Also, they now serve breakfast! The new location is very nice.

Another stop in a fast food joint in small town texas. This place does not have a lot of choice. I took my cousin here so he could use the playground and get a snack. The ice cream was alright but not even good by DQ standards. The place it self was a mess and looked like it had not been cleaned in a long time.
