I agree with Lydia completely. Golden is by far the best Acrylic paint in the universe. they actively develop advanced products, and continue to come up with new stuff constantly. As well, they have a nice library of videos on youtube to help you use the products. I have heard complaints before about the lack of literature on the products, but the golden website has pretty good information, so check it carefully. I too have a bunch of Goldens, and I wish they were the only brand I were using, but budget does have to fit the picture, so I am forced to just splurge from time to time. I have this weird fantasy about driving all the way up to their facility(NY) and having them show me around(and some advanced user tips too!!)… but hey… I better go paint now!

I cannot believe that no one has thus far Unilocaled Golden Artist Colors! My taboret is an actual shrine to their fine products-Golden Artist Colors & Golden Acrylics(including interference colors), mediums such as Micaceous Oxide, Moulding pastes and Glass Bead Gels. I wish I could get them all! Or at least have the knowledge on how to use them to their best advantage. Another thing I love, ok two, about Golden is that someone actually paints the color on the tube so you can see what it looks like dry and the(discontinued?) chart of color where someone actually paints on the available color brochure each color in its appropriate space. I would LOVE that job! :o) I like to work in mixed media and have tried many brands other than Golden, but the quality of their pigments and compounds keeps me coming back. The applications and combinations are endless! I would welcome the opportunity to attend a workshop in order to learn more about their products. I heard from an art teacher I workshopped with last year that they do do them occasionally so Golden, if you hear me, let me know!
