Silva’s Discount Liquors

You would have to spend time in New Bedford to know this, but your liquor store shopping runs according to the «end» that you are driving to. This is one of the two «North End» stores that I may go to. I had no idea that the name of the store had the word «discount» until now. It was always just that a «liquor store in the North End». And frankly, I’m not sure that this place is any cheaper than anywhere else. I purchased a 6 pack of Miller Light for 5.99 which is about as expensive as anywhere else. To be fair, I am usually purchasing beer, not hard liquors, so the discount may apply there. The store itself is very clean and very large. I had no problem finding the beer section, and if I didn’t have to pee, I would have probably gotten drawn into the wine section, which was fairly large. This is more of a superstore than a mom and pop place, so you should find what you are looking for.

Silva’s Discount Liquors is a very large store with an enormous selection of beers, liquors, and wines. Stopped in quick before a long ride to a summer cookout. Ended up picking up a Mike’s Hard party pack for a decent price! Cheaper than anywhere else I’ve seen it.
Line was extremely long but fortunately service was extremely fast! I was in and out of here in no time. The signs hanging in the store made it very easy to locate the other items on the list.
Their last minute buy items near the checkout counter are extremely convincing and swayed my friend into purchasing one of them. Malibu Melon Rum is much tastier at a cheaper price!!! Can’t go wrong here! Quick service, cheap prices, well worth it!!!
