My experience at the salon was horrifying, to say the least. After spending in the upwards of a thousand dollars, I had to get another salon to repair my hair(which cost me more money). I had Great Lengths Extensions done at this salon by their extensionist, Lori. By far the worst customer service ever! A few short hours following my consultation with the stylist, I called and asked if it was too late to change my mind, as I was worried about how my hair would look and the damage the extensions would cause. Lori told me that because she’d already ordered the extensions I would have to either wait for her to sell them to another client, which could take months, or just get my hair done. So, I wasn’t willing to lose the money I had spent on the deposit and made the appointment to get them done. The extensions weren’t placed with any uniformity, causing my hair to look mullety and bare in places. The extensions were placed too close to my scalp which pulled my hair out. I was given a care package, which was supposed to be filled with Great Lengths products, but that wasn’t the case at all. I was given Walmart travel bottles half filled with Lord only knows what product and labeled with homemade labels. Not at all what one would expect after spending this kind of money. After asking that she fix my hair, I was told that she would fix it for another $ 300.00! I don’t care what kind of work you’re getting done, a quote is a quote. I specifically expressed to this woman that money was not an issue for me during my consultation. She should have quoted for the correct amount of bundles it would take to do my hair, without leaving sections bare and sparsely covered. When I spoke to her about how I felt about my hair, she said«Well, I think I did a good job on your hair», and refused to fix the issue without being paid more to do it. I would not recommend anyone pay this woman to do your hair. Do the research, read reviews, and get a contract prior to agreeing to spend this kind of money to get your hair done. Also, when I reached out to the salon owners they were apologetic, but stated that the stylist doesn’t answer to them, she’s an independent contractor who rents a chair from them. To the owners: I would not allow anyone to represent my business this way. It’s simply bad for business.
