Stayed here for a three night weekend just before the holidays. Nice room with fridge and microwave. Small pool overrun with college kids in town for a holiday semi formal. They were fun to watch and listen to throughout the facility for two days even though they kept it up well into the night in the hallways in their inebriated state. Hotel is close to FL Springs resort, casino and the iconic West Baden hotel at significantly reduced rates. Breakfast(included) was just okay. Lots to do in the area.

Previously I have given this hotel 5 stars each visit… we usually stay at this hotel once a yr this year was 2 different times. Update: We’ve stayed at this hotel several times before and this was the worst service ever; this visit was for 2 nights 3 days. The desk lady on Dec. 24th at 3pm wasn’t friendly and apparently she was supposed to give us a paper letting us know we wouldn’t get cleaning service for the entire visit. We most likely wouldn’t have booked this hotel if we were informed of that prior to booking. The room wasn’t cleaned when we arrived; there was a dirty towel in the tub with dirt inside the tub and old coffee in the coffee machine, linens were itchy, the internet was extremely slow, ice machine on the 3rd floor didn’t work, pool had what looked like blood on the ground, the gym wasn’t cleaned, the potatoes were not fully cooked(citi was the cook’s name on the board that day) and we didn’t get a receipt even though we booked online at bw’s website I think we still should have received a check out receipt. The desk lady on the 25th during the day was excellent and all other services were good. We like the location but we are highly considering not booking this particular hotel again.

I’m the event coordinator for VonRouge Magazine. We held a modeling event in Louisville. It just happened to be on a weekend that was extremely busy with all kinds of events. Finding a hotel that could accommodate my crew, fit our budget and all our needs was extremely difficult. Everyone was booked! But Sarah, the manager, and Alexandra, the daytime front desk clerk, were AMAZING! They bent over backwards for us! I’ve never been so happy with a hotel or their staff. Everyone one was incredibly helpful and accommodating. The rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable, and well within our budget. The pool was clean and nice enough for us to do an actual photoshoot in it. The photos turned out pretty amazing, you should check them out. The Breakfast! Don’t even get me started on the breakfast. Anything we wanted, they had. Our entire crew loved it. The hotel was close to all the major locations that we were shooting at, including Waterfront Park and the Conrad-Caldwell house museum. I would definitely recommend this hotel to both small and large parties.

I was a late arrival, as per the reservation. When I arrived, they were resurfacing the parking lot, causing them to block over half of the available pearling spaces which necessitated me parking in the street — which I found to be unacceptable. It also made accessing the main desk very difficult. Once at my room though, I found it to be very clean and the bed was one of the best I slept in during my vacation.

Perfect place to stay on our road trip from VA to ILLINOIS. Really nice receptionist. Comfy bed. One if the best hotel showers I’ve enjoyed. And the breakfast? As my husband said, it was just gravy in regards to the stay being wonderful if the breakfast was so so it would be a bonus… and it was. If you are looking for a comfy place to stay this could be it!

Nice renovated rooms, but there is a serious lack of parking. They also over-booked the hotel, so the room we requested(standard king) wasn’t available. They ended up putting us in a double queen room that smelled like smoke, and didn’t seem to care one bit. UPDATE: Checking my credit card statement this month(28 days since the stay) the hotel double charged my credit card, and now I am fighting to get my $ 90 back. UPDATE2: Was able to get the charge returned.

This is definitely a decent choice if you are going to be staying in Louisville, but don’t want to pay for downtown prices. The hotel is a short drive to downtown & there is plenty of parking & not a lot of traffic, so it only took us about 5 minutes to go from one to the other. I got a decent price from , it was under $ 100 and that was good enough for me. They are going through renovations, our room was nicely updated and clean. I only have a few small complaints… the TV channels are all kinds of jacked up, they are not what is listed on the sheet in the room & it was impossible to find a channel that would come in. There is a Subway on the first floor which I personally find gross, I hate the smell of Subway & smelling that right when I walked in was nasty. There is a free breakfast in the morning, but it wasn’t that great. I didn’t expect anything amazing, but the eggs didn’t taste like eggs(or even fake eggs, for that matter… no idea what these were made from!), the biscuits/toast were all dried out, and there wasn’t much fruit to choose from. I’d recommend sticking to the yogurt/cereal & that’s about it. Other than these minor things, it was a decent stay… comfy bed, friendly front desk people & it was very quiet, even though our room faced the highway. It’s worth looking into if you are just passing through and don’t mind not being right in the middle of the city.
