Van Houten Peter MD

Dr. Van Houten has treated me for over 20 years. He is an excellent diagnostician, and is very caring as well. He also is willing to take the time to explain conditions thoroughly, and answer questions, which these days is rare, and is very appreciated! He is also reassuring, which is important when you are concerned or worried about a condition. He is also unique because as a «country doc» he will often go ahead and treat more minor conditions that most «city docs» will send you to a costly specialist for (nearly always unnecessary). Because he treats so many patients, and has been doing this for a long time, he really has a breadth of experience that I have not found in other GP’s I’ve seen. Not to mention he is just really a nice guy. Thanks Dr. Peter!
