Great fajitas and flautas!
We eat in or get takeout and either way it’s always great!
Or the enchiladas or any of the platters are great!

Came here while passing by with 2 buddys 10 minutes AFTER they closed. They allowed us to sit at the bar served us 2 rounds of shots, hell even the owner took a shot with us to celebrate the one guys fifth year of sobriety that we were with.

My husband and I have been coming here for years. He loves the Chicken Guadalajara. The salsa is the best I’ve ever had and that’s where my positive review ends. The chips tasted burnt and bland. Either our taste is changing and more refined or the food needs better seasoning. I just found my tamales and refried beans to be bland. Then the rice was over salty. In past visits the tacos (hard shell) were so soggy I needed to eat with a fork. My husband loves the Chicken Guadalajara so I would tolerate coming here but last night was the last time. My husband ordered a Pina Colada. It tasted like medicine. He sent it back and ordered a Margarita and that was worse. I don’t know what drink mix they are using (because they sure as heck aren’t making fresh drinks) but it is terrible. Then the manager or owner came over and actually had the nerve to yell at us for sending the drinks back. My husband didn’t yell back he just simply apologized to him and explained that the drinks were just bad. We’ve been long time regular customers (again only for that chicken dish and the great salsa) but will never go back. Great customer recovery methods you have by yelling at your long time paying customers!

Great Mexican food. My husband says it’s as close to Arizona Mexican food as possible. I love their guacamole.

Our favorite Mexican food! It’s definitely the best in Morris County. Sometimes there is a wait but to me that is a good sign. Service is friendly and fast. My kids love it too

Love this restaurant! This is one of those classic Mexican places where you’re getting great quality food and drinks for great prices! The servings are enormous and I’ve never not liked any of the menu items that I’ve ordered especially the shrimp enchiladas and fajitas; they leave me super full with food leftover to take home. The guac is a must, too! The décor is also very fun, and this place is a overall great Mexican restaurant where you can’t go wrong!

If you want Authentic Mexican food Do Not go here. I’ve given them a try 3 times ordering the steak fajitas and the meat was extremely tough and overall just very disappointing. If you like Americanized Mexican food then this is the place for you.

The food here was outstanding, excellent steak fajitas, flautas, home made chips, and great salsa. nice atmosphere too. It’s not too big inside, so arrive early or be ready to wait. Great place.

Love this place. Delicious fresh food, reasonable prices (like $ 12 – 15 entrees that are enough for my dinner and next-​day lunch). The salsa that comes out before the meal is hot (and delicious but perhaps too hot for some people), and the chips are great. They have good drink specials. The décor is outrageous and I love it. Have probably been here 3 or 4 times with the mr., and we return every time we crave mexican. Also, we have never waited long for our food, but I imagine it gets busy on the weekends — which is to be expected. If you want freshly prepared food, you should not complain about the time it takes to make it. If you want your food in 10 minutes, Fridays or Cheesecake Factory is a better choice (where your food comes out from the freezer).

I came here with my Dad and his Girlfriend and we had a great time. The food was great and the sangria was a steal!
I took a star off for our waitress, she was pushy about clearing the table even though half of us were still eating and never really around.

The food really good i must say they don’t give you a lot for the price, everything comes with rice on the side but the grilled chicken or grilled steak is awesome the drinks are big and good and when they seat you they don’t crowd you in next to groups they spread you out switch I love it’s a must try one time and you will love it and kick your self for not going sooner it’s real Mexican food not that Tacco bell crap! Oh and free chips and Sasa at every table with refills,

Delicious food! This is my second time here and everything is good. The chorizo appetizer is honestly some of the best chorizo I’ve ever had! It comes in a app platter if you wanna get a taste of several things. In which the quesadilla is great and the jalapeño poppers are fantastic! Shrimp enchiladas are great as well as the chicken, and the steak chimichanga is yummy. Try this place if you’re in the area.

Long wait, average Mexican food, tight space and slippery floors.
Anytime after 5 on the weekends this place has a wait. It’s not very big. It’s loud so bring the kids if you can fit them at your table (and it doesn’t interfere with the other table).
Food is typical Mexican fast food type — over seasoned or super bland.
Nachos for apps were a let down. Burnt chips and flavorless additions.
Chicken burrito could use more flavor but the rice/​beans were over seasoned.
Server seemed overwhelmed. Drinks were full of ice and not enough alcohol (big pet peeve when ordering Margarita’s.
Being generous with 3 stars.

It’s always nice to have a little Mexican restaurant that has a good menu, and great food. For me… this is it! We found this place on Unilocal!and gave it a try, we have now been here 4 or 5 times and each time everything turns out great. The portions are fantastic and the food is excellent. It’s always pretty full, but we’ve never waited more than a few minutes. They are really on top of things!

The best Mexican restaurant in the area! Minutes off Route 80, great ambience –very clean and neat. All the employees were very friendly and helpful. Tasty food, tried a simple dish last night — chicken burritos with rice and beans and loved every bite. Will definitely return.

Our company ordered takeout from here for an employee birthday party. Most of the food was good but the presentation was messy. The shrimp dish with bacon was dry and inedible but the quesadillas were yummy. We may try them again in the future.

What a surprise to find better tasting, and somewhat more authentic, Mexican food out near Stanhope than it is closer to home in Jersey City. The restaurant is very colorfully designed and the details in the tables and seating is very cool. The guacamole was very much to my taste, and it was somewhat chunky and didn’t contain too much tomato. Also, while I am not the biggest fan of margaritas, the one I had here can only be described as straight up delicious. My only knock on the restaurant is the service; while we were attended to by several employees, the waiter that I would consider our main server was very rude. He did not introduce himself initially and when we tried to get his attention later on in the meal, his response was something along the lines of «What happened, what do you want».

Small pretty cute restaurants everything set up to look authentic. Food was pretty good nachos and salsa served while you wait. Got an appetizer and three combos all pretty good and paid only$ 45.

Very colorful décor, I am really happy with the interior of the place, it does feel little cramped, but feels cozy!!!
Service is good and Food is excellent.
I surely recommend this place and if I am passing by here and in mood of Mexican food, will surely stop by again.

I came here with my cousins from UK, picked the place randomly while driving from Pocono to North Jersey. Never expected such an authentic Mexican food with beautiful décor and humble service. I order vegetarian Enchilada and my cousins order, Chicken burritos, Chicken Guadalajara. Overall whatever we order turned out great.
Highly recommend this place.
