Clams were chewy and tasteless. Calamari was over-breaded but tasty. Shrimp Parm was so over breaded it had to be sent back. Steak special was good. Chicken Parm was good.

Excellent pizza and quick, friendly service! Can’t ask for much more than that. If you enjoy thin crust pizza done right, then this is the place for you! The crust was thin, tasted great, and was good and crisp, like a thin crust is supposed to be! Nice little casual dining area with a TV in the pizzeria, and what looked like a more formal dining room in the back of the restaurant. Would definitely go back if I’m in the area again.

Best lunch time deal — 2 slices with multiple toppings and a soda for under $ 7. The pizza is also delicious. I come in about once a week when I work from home.

Great pizza and Italian food and good atmosphere in the dining room area. There’s room for private parties too. Had wedding catered there a few years back and everything was great! I am out of state /country now but still go back to get a pie when I’m in the area.

If you’re in the mood for a delicious Italian meal with nice friendly waitstaff, don’t hesitate for a moment. My family and I have been going there for years and I’ve never been disappointed. I just had the baked ziti and it was not only excellent, but HUGE too. I took it home and it was just as good the following night. Highly recommended!

This was the best pizza place in the Neptune area. I would order the pizza and take it to my hotel to eat as I am paranoid about getting a DUI. I love pizza washed down with a beer or 3 and the last thing I wanted to see was blue lights in the rear window. The roads in and around Jumping Brook and 33 have quite a strong police presence so be warned. I was less than enthused with the customer service here but I really didn’t care as I just wanted the pizza. My hotel was literally a mile away and so the pies were still piping hot when I got them to my room. The pizzas are chewy and charred and the crust holds up to the greasiest toppings without turning soupy. It’s not DeLorenzos in Trenton… but it’s very good. Better than Brunos, better than Dominics, better than Altilios… in my opinion(I expect to get blasted for what I am about to say)…better than Pete and Eldas… oh the horror!

Don’t know what the fuss is about. Seems to be a favorite among life time residents in this neck of the woods but nothing about the place is outstanding. The last meal I had there was so unmemorable that I can’t remember what it was. Unfortunately what I do remember is the pool of grease on the plate when I was done and the bitter tast of burnt garlic. Too much competition in this area to make fundamental mistakes like that.

Both dinning room and take out are both great. When we came for dinner we had the eggplant rolatini. The eggplant was heavenly. It’s hard to fry eggplant nice&crisp but not heavy. It was so good that i can’t even remember the other dishes we ordered. For take out there is not another place i can think of who has better pizza. It’s a nice thin crispy crust with a bright flavorful sauce. So good it needed no extra toppings to make it better. Plus for my meat loving boyfriend he said the burger was pretty good. Worth a try.

Delvettos pies are almost as good as Marruzio’s. Their pizza is thin, chrispy and their sauce is amazing. I normally order sausage, peppers, and onion pie(well done) and it always comes out great. I would love to of given them 5 stars, but they are not open on Sunday or Mondays, and dont really deliver in the afternoon. Im sure if they opened on Sundays during football season, their business would do great.

Just moved into the area, called for a delivery — quick and the pies were excellent! This really is 5 stars but they are closed on Sunday(which I found out when I had company and they wanted pizza). Definitely will make this my new regular local spot!

The business appears to have 2 separate service areas. This relates only to the pizza pickup section(door facing Jumping Brook Rd) not the main restaurant area. We tried their thin crust pizza and it was better than average. We understand why some reviews say it’s great. Saturday night was very busy, yet our pizza was ready for pick up in 20 min. On that basis this would be 4 stars. However, the condition of the pizza prep area was sorely in need of a more thorough cleaning or possible a refurbishing. The exhaust fan over the prep table looked especially bad. Whenever I see public areas of a restaurant appear neglected, I naturally question the condition of the food prep area you cannot see.

This is great pizza. I called in an order for a large pepperoni and sausage pizza. The service was prompt and friendly. The pizza was perfect. Good job guys.

Great thin crust pizza! This place also serves up an AMAZING sicilian crust pizza. I can never choose which one to order. Yummy sauce, great crust, on the thin crust… Sicilian is Thick, light, almost like what(dont shoot) pizza hut ISTRYING to do. Service is always fast. On another note… their subs… HUGE and the bread is perfect! Dressed and seasoned just right… been going here since I was young and they first opened. They have a dining area… no frills, but very yummy meals. BOTH the pizzeria and dining room are very busy during lunch. Always come here when passing and hungry.

We decided to grab dinner here after a long day at the outlets and we were amazed how good the pizza was. We ordered a large pie with garlic and it was one of the best garlic pie’s I’ve ever had. I definitely would come back here again. Service was excellent as well and everyone was super nice. (This review is for the counter service and not the dining room next door.)

This is a must-eat when my husband, an OT native, comes home. He adores the chicken saltimbocca and the salad with blue cheese dressing. You can’t go wrong with pretty much anything on the menu. Service is nice but sometimes a bit slow — that’s okay, more time to enjoy the company of your dining companions. BYOB.

I’ve gotten take out from here a few times. Pizza is great and cold subs have been great. Best Pizza/Italian place in the area.

This is a small local Italian joint located in a strip mall. Portion sizes are massive. The food is very much Americanized Italian. Not saying that is bad, but just know that walking in. They do not have a liquor license, but support BYOB(there is a place within the same strip mall where you can pick up your alcohol and bring it over). Service is prompt and efficient. Definitely someplace I’d go back to.

When my boyfriend and I first started dating we decided to have a date night at Delvetto’s Restaurant. Being that I’ve been there dozens of times, I really wanted him to try it since he 1) has never been and 2) is Italian. For an appetizer we ordered their famous broccoli rabe, which is sauteed in olive oil, finished with chicken broth, and accompanied by HUGE cloves of wonderfully roasted garlic. Very delicious. For dinner, my boyfriend ordered the chicken scampi and I ordered the flounder francaise. The portion is huge and the scampi sauce was so garlicky and wonderful that he almost licked his plate clean. My flounder francaise was perfectly cooked, and had a great lemon/wine flavor, the way a good francaise always does, and was served over perfectly cooked bed of penne. Overall, we loved this place. The service is great and everyone is friendly. Also, its bring your own, which is always an added benefit to any restaurant especially in this economy. We would definitely recommend this place and you MUST try the broccoli rabe appetizer! Oh and the pizza is great!

Quality lunch destination. Good pizza and sandwiches. I have not been here for dinner lately but have been told quality is still very good.
