DON’T BOTHER — If a friend of mine said they were going to this place — I’d recommend they go somewhere else. The service was poor. There were 3 people in my party and we thought perhaps they had just forgotten about us. Once the food arrived — I had ordered the Mahi fish&chips — it wasn’t very good at all. In fact, the Mahi hit like a gut-bomb that lasted for more than 24 hours. The other two in my group ordered burgers and they didn’t say they were terrible, but they also didn’t say they were«all that» either.

Went here for lunch twice, and it was delicious both times. I highly recommend sitting in the bar area upstairs as opposed to inside the restaurant downstairs. It’s the perfect casual beachy spot, and they serve the full menu, but you’re right by the bar and you get to be outside! Make sure to get a piña colada(or 2… or 3.) while you’re there– I mean, you’re at the beach, right?! I’ve had the maine lobster salad, and the tuna, and my boyfriend got the crab cake blt and the mahi mahi fajiitas. Everything was great– they have a nice selection of seafood dishes. I would definitely take someone there for food and drinks again next time I’m at the beaches.

Fun place to have a drink and some apps. up on the top level overlooking the activity down below. Great bloody mary(spicy) and quesadilla! Others loved the soup!

I have been here many times and normally the Food is good. this time was an issue… the I ordered the Filet Sandwich and wanted it cooked Medium Rare… they could not because of the way they slice it… make them thicker so you can cook it the way I like it… My wife ordered the Wedge Salad and the Chowder Soup… the soup was so thick it was more like a Gravy and the Wedge salad the dressing was so thin it was like soup… It is not my job to bring this to managements attention it went through the COOK, to the wait staff to our table and no one noticed… Management needs to train their staff better to observe these things… I am not the kind of person to go face to face with management unless it is really terrible… this was not it just was not good… which is a Huge surprise for them…

Not sure what’s going on here. I used to eat here frequently. The drinks and atmosphere are usually great. However, something FISHY has happened. The first thing I noticed was the menu change. It used to be much flashier. Now it is very simple. Just a note, no real opinion there. On to the food. I must share my opinion on that. I got the lobster salad. It sounded delicious. It tasted the opposite. My lobster was so tough and overcooked, I had to pick it up and try to pry it apart with my hands. The Blood Orange vinagrette didn’t have much flavor. Needless to say, it was a $ 13 disappointment. My friend’s salmon BLT did not agree with her, and we had to call it a night earlier than planned. Boo! What a waste of a pretty spring night. Now, in the past, I have eaten here several times and had a pleasant experience. I always enjoy the upstairs bar on a warm, summer night. The food has been fine; I used to love their jerk chicken wrap. That’s why the two stars. But it might take some convincing to go back and eat there after last night. The only redemption was that our server was very polite and kept apologizing for things.

If you like to people watch and relax this is a place I would recommend. in my two weeks in Jacksonville I frequented this place a lot, mainly due to the outdoor seating that wraps around the corner. Each time we got a server that was friendly and willing to accept/tolerate our ability and antics when drinking copious amounts of alcohol. Food was okay nothing stellar but the grilled jerk chicken wings were tasty and the fried shrimp were also good. So next time it’s sunny but to chilly for the beach head down to Caribbee Key and have yourself a cocktail or two, three, a dozen you know whatever it takes! :-)

Stopped here on my first night in town to meet with some Co workers. What a nice spot. Tuesday night drink special was $ 2ANY draft?! What a deal. The only downside was that the beer didn’t taste that great as the lines needed to be cleaned. Ordered a pulled pork quesadilla and it was heaven! I can’t tell if its because I’ve been eating airport food all day or if I was really hungry but I practically inhaled that sucker. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Would definitely like to come back on a weekend to see this place shine.

Open air and breezes plus acoustic guitar make for a nice night. The guitar player was good but he played everything from Van Morrison to Paula Abdul. Crazy ladies in purple hair handed out shots of Kracken!

I dined at this restaurant twice and was pleased both times. The food is solid; expect standard bar & grill fare with a twist. The staff are friendly and the outdoor setting area is a nice place to sit and watch the world go by.

we stopped in while cruising the beach Sunday to have a couple drinks and appetizers. We got right in even though they were busy. We had the crab dip, which I liked a lot because it wasn;t overly crabby tasting(no breath mint needed after eatting it) my husband had the wings which he liked and we also had their fries which were very tasty. Not until it was too late did I realize they also have sweet potato fries so I will be back for those. Nice place to grab a bite and hang out for a while!

This is where I do believe everyone heads for drinks on the weekends! Great vibe, upbeat, good music and elbows to assholes! If you have a problem with crowds, don’t come here after 10pm. If you like bumping into strangers when you dance and waiting for your drinks, this is the place. And I am not trying to be negative, I like the joint, but it is for the 21 to 35 crowd maybe? I think I will stick to the before 10pm time frame unless they band is worth it.

This is a tiny little bar on a patio or attic looking platform. I’m not sure exactly what it is. All you see downstairs is a table with a hostess standing behind it. Once you take the stairs up, you will see a bar in an open gazebo looking structure. You can get a nice sea breeze anywhere in this bar(except for the bathroom). The best part is the $ 5 pitchers for domestic beers. No, I’m not a fan of domestic beers, but the $ 5 pitchers draws plenty of people in there to give it a great scenery. Of course, the review is still mainly on the food. I had the crab cakes and the tuna. Both are more than decent. If it wasn’t for the single unisex restroom that doesn’t quite flush, I would definitely be back.

Don’t know what the other people are raving over, but we ate there last night(4÷22÷10) and were seriously disappointed. The menu looked decent so we stopped in. The waitress was nice and efficient, once she actually acknowledged us(it took a while before she showed up at the table); the crab chowder came out luke warm and almost thick as paste; the salsa with the chips was bland; the chips were stale; the crab cobb was ok, but the lettuce was old(meaning, the leaves were tough). My husband did enjoy his black bean soup and the blackened fish. Skip it.

Lovely beach vibe. The conch fritters were perfectly cooked. Both soups(black bean & corn crab chowder) were flavorful. The pulled pork entrée was moist with a spicy BBQ. And blackened Mahi was generous & perfectly cooked. All in all a great choice for a couple of out-of-towners looking for beach experience.

I have come to expect, that unless a fine dining restaurant is chosen, that my culinary expectations for restaurants along the water, are not very high, but this looked like a fun place, with tables to boot outside. This restaurant is located on the corner of the main square of Neptune Beach. The atmosphere looks fun(I came late afternoon during the week). It is a casual atmosphere. The menu looked good(again, casual). My server was very friendly and attentive. I ordered the Sweet Potato Biscuits(I have never seen these before). They were ok, much better when the cinnamon was added to them. I was also really disappointed to learn that their Fruit Platter was not available b/c as I was told, the fruit delivered that morning did not look good(kudos for not passing this misfortune on to your customer’s), so I settled for the veggie quesadillas, which included squash and zucchini(mmm). This is a fun place to meet up with friends. They also have good drink specials(I overheard the server at the table next to me). Have fun!

I like this place! It’s fun, it’s lively, near the beach, good atmosphere AND delicious. I had a classic mojito and some appetizers, all of which were well made. I kind of wish they had a bigger selection of rum inspired drinks. It seems like there’s 3 main drinks and then there’s a bunch of martinis. The food I had was good though. Four stars good.

This place is good… not great, but good! The food is well prepared, and the atmosphere is fun. I had the jerk chicken wings, tasty if a little too salty, but they seemed to be authentically prepared. I did feel that certain aspects of my meal, grilled Mahi with black beans and rice, had the same effect. Fish was fresh and grilled well, beans&rice had a little too much saltiness. Would I return, yes, it’s worthwhile and for the type of place, a good choice.

Without a doubt, I’d come here again. And again. And probably another time. My food was absolutely delicious — I had the blackened shrimp with a side of beans and rice. The shrimp was oh so tasty. I also had one of their martinis, which was also delicious. My friends had the crab cakes and pasta; they were equally as satisfied with their dishes. I have nothing but nice things to say about this place. We were served quickly, the waiter was really nice and both him and the manager made sure we were enjoying our meals. Yum. For real.
